About Me
I am a passionate, warm and versatile music and woodwind teacher from Coleraine, Northern Ireland, now based in London. After graduating from The University of Birmingham with a BMus Honours degree in Music, I went on to teach for the music department at Hendon School, supporting the delivery of GCSE and A Level Music classes and providing 1-to-1 support for students with additional educational needs. I have been teaching flute, piano and music theory individually and in small group classes for around 5 years. Recently, this included teaching for Kings Norton Girls’ School and Education Authority Orchestral Residential Course alongside her private practice. As a woodwind player, my professional career has seen me play professionally across musical theatre and orchestral fields. I offer 1-to-1 lessons in Flute, Piano, Music Theory as well as tutoring toward GCSE and A Level Music examinations.
My teaching style
My teaching style is warm, friendly and fun; tailored to the level, goals and personality of each individual student. Whether you’re completely new to music or want to take your playing/knowledge to the next level, I can help you achieve your goals with confidence and positivity.
