About Me
Having been in your position not too long ago, I can understand these exams and application processes can be a very stressful and daunting period. Sometimes, it can appear all too overwhelming and it can be hard to remember what all of this stress is for.
Our preparation together will deepen your knowledge, understanding and exam technique to enable you to go into your exams feeling confident you can do your very best. Throughout our sessions I endeavour to ensure you can achieve the very top grades by facilitating engaging yet challenging sessions to enable you to succeed in your examinations / interviews.
I have a passion for education and widening access for students from all backgrounds who aspire to study at top universities. In the past year I have throughly enjoyed dedicating my time to assist students with medical school applications and A-levels through both tutoring and outreach programmes.
I look forward to our first session together!
My teaching style
I believe its really important to incorporate active recall, inquisitive questions, brainstorming, problem solving and lots of exam practice questions into all sessions.
I like to be flexible with sessions to fit in with your availability. By assisting students in solving their way to answers and concepts, rather than just telling them all the material which can be overwhelming and time consuming. I have found this prevents students from building any misconceptions on topics whilst also improving their recall, knowledge and exam technique. Therefore, preparing students for examinations and their future studies.
My past experience
I have been tutoring for over three years. Helping students achieve the top grades at GCSE and A-level. Providing support throughout the medical school application process, helping them gain offers to top universities.
My Proudest Achievements
Ranking 1st in my clinical examinations this year
Obtaining a black belt in shotokan karate
Having my research published in international medical journals
