About Me
I am an experienced English educator with a bachelor’s degree in English and an MA in Education. specialising in ADHD and inclusive teaching strategies. With three years of teaching experience, including months in the UK, I have worked with primary and secondary students, delivering Functional Skills English, GCSE English Language and Literature, and literacy support. I also have tutoring experience, providing personalised one-on-one and small-group instruction. My expertise includes SEND support, exam preparation, and curriculum adaptation. Passionate about student-centered learning, I create engaging, structured, and inclusive lessons to help learners build confidence and achieve academic success.
I believe in a student-centered approach to teaching, where lessons are tailored to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each individual. I strive to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, where students feel encouraged to participate and take ownership of their learning. My teaching is engaging and interactive, incorporating methods such as:

I tailor my lessons to individual needs, especially for SEND students, using strategies informed by my research on ADHD and SEND education.

Flexibility is key in my approach—I adapt to different teaching settings, from classrooms to one-on-one tutoring, ensuring that my students receive the guidance they need. I also emphasize practical application, helping students connect their learning to real-world contexts while developing their communication and comprehension skills.
My past experience
I have experience tutoring students of various ages and abilities, both in one-on-one and small group settings. My tutoring work has focused on improving English proficiency, exam preparation, and building students’ confidence in their reading, writing, and speaking skills. I have supported learners in preparing for GCSE English Language and Literature, as well as Functional Skills English.
