About Me
I recently graduated with a Master’s degree in Engineering from the University of Oxford, achieving first-class results throughout all four years of my studies. My final year was completed on an exchange programme at Princeton University, which deepened my academic perspective and broadened my international perspective.
I’m passionate about teaching because I find real satisfaction in helping others grow. Many students can feel that education is something given to them, but I enjoy showing them how they can take ownership of their learning with the right guidance and support. My goal is to help students build confidence, develop genuine curiosity, and find enjoyment in mastering challenging subjects.
In general I love learning. As an engineer, I see systems and patterns everywhere, and I’m fascinated by how different disciplines help us make sense of the world in unique ways. For example, my master’s thesis explored the shared information in language processing between AI models and the human brain – this drew a lot on psychology and cognitive science. Being able to share that sense of curiosity with others is, to me, one of the most rewarding parts of teaching.
My teaching style
Lessons typically last one hour and are interactive, with an emphasis on problem-solving and critical thinking. I adjust my pace and teaching style to suit each student’s needs, ensuring concepts are fully understood before moving on. My lessons are ideal for secondary school and early university students who want to strengthen their understanding and develop lasting confidence in their subject.
