Eloise
About Me
My name is Eloise Hayward, and I am an experienced tutor with over six years of teaching experience across Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Science, and Biomedical Science. I provide tailored tuition for students from KS1 through to University level, specialising in GCSE and A-Level preparation.
My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and highly adaptable*. I focus on understanding each student’s unique learning style, enabling me to create structured, engaging lessons that build confidence and deliver lasting academic progress. I believe in fostering not only subject knowledge but also problem-solving skills and independent thinking.
Over the past six years, I have tutored both in person and online, helping students achieve strong exam results and, more importantly, a deeper understanding of the subjects they study.
Alongside tutoring, I have a strong academic and athletic background. My research paper on the effects of the menstrual cycle on athlete was published during my Biomedical Science studies — an achievement that reflects my analytical skills and dedication to evidence-based learning. In addition, I am proud to represent Great Britain Rugby 7s, an experience that has instilled in me the values of discipline, focus, and perseverance, which I bring into my teaching practice.
I am passionate about helping students realise their full potential and equipping them with the confidence and tools to succeed academically and beyond.
