Eesher
About Me
Hi! My name is Eesher and I have recently graduated from the University of Cambridge where I studied Geography. In September 2025, I will begin a part-time Masters degree in Urban Studies at UCL. Outside of my studies, I enjoy playing tennis and padel, and I also practice guitar and piano.
Over the last 3 years, I have had experience working as an academic insights mentor for a summer school in Cambridge offering academic guidance to prospective students. This experience has shaped my tutoring style, which focuses on creating an engaging environment for students to actively participate in. As a tutor, I strive to create an encouraging learning environment by breaking down complex ideas into clear, structured lessons tailored to each student’s needs. I am available to offer support in Geography, Economics, and Politics from GCSE to A-Level, helping students to build their confidence and understanding.
My teaching style
My teaching style combines revisiting and breaking down challenging questions and topics, as well as introducing new content and practicing exam-style questions. I focus on clear and structured approaches to tackling questions while incorporating a range of revision techniques to find what best suits each student. In my particular subjects, I find that creating study guides for each section of the curriculum helps to break down concepts which is effective for longer-term understanding.
