Hi! I’m Niva, a passionate aspiring doctor with extensive experience navigating the UK and US medical school systems. I’ve shadowed doctors across NHS hospitals like Wrightington, Wigan, and Leigh Trust, and volunteered in diverse healthcare settings—from dementia care at Southgate Retirement Community to the VA Hospital in Bedford, MA. I’m a National Merit Finalist, HOSA International qualifier, and have conducted AI-health research with NASA’s space health data through my internship at TrialX. I’ve also coached students in medical math, admissions strategy, and interview prep. I believe medicine is as much about understanding people as it is about science, and I bring that same holistic approach to tutoring. I’m here to help you tell your story confidently and stand out in your applications and interviews.
My teaching style
I focus on personalized, strategic, and motivating sessions. I balance content mastery with confidence building and aim to help students structure powerful personal statements, ace interviews, and think like future doctors.
My past experience
Yes! I’ve tutored SAT English/Math with Schoolhouse.world, mentored middle school math teams, and led seminars on AI in medicine. I’ve helped peers with personal statements and mock MMI interviews.
My Proudest Achievements
Presenting medical AI research to NASA, winning HOSA states, and helping students win national math awards. Most of all, I’m proud when a student says, “You made me believe I could do this.”
