Hi 👋 I’m Juwaria!
I’m currently pursuing a Master of Science in Optometry at the University of Plymouth, where I’m passionate about developing my skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care. I love working in the optometry field and continuously learning how to improve patient engagement and clinical practice.
In my free time, I enjoy videography, editing and learning about the latest innovations in technology📱
I have worked in multiple practices and have a wealth of experience on how to get into optometry, and how to maximise your chances of getting the pre-reg/CliP position you want too. Additionally, I have resources from multiple universities and books to help maximise your learning and potential. I also received 5/5 offers on UCAS, I know the interview process very well and can help you get into university, including if you did not meet the entry requirements.
My teaching style
My teaching style involves screen annotation on Zoom to visually explain concepts, active recall to reinforce learning, and flashcards via Anki or Quizlet. I also use clear, structured PowerPoints to support understanding.
My past experience
Yes, I have previously taught English and Maths abroad in northern Pakistan to young students aged 6-11 and adults.
