3About Me
I am Nadeera, an experienced Science and Mathematics teacher, specialising in teaching students from KS1 to KS4. I hold a Chemistry degree and recently completed my Master’s in Education, Ethics, and Leadership at the University of Gloucestershire.
With over 15 years of tutoring experience, I have developed a deep understanding of students’ needs and learning styles. I use simple yet effective study strategies to make complex concepts easier to grasp, and I am well known for delivering engaging, interactive lessons filled with quizzes, videos, and worksheets that make learning both fun and impactful.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student has the potential to succeed. I see it as the teacher’s responsibility to recognise each learner’s strengths, nurture their capabilities, and guide them towards becoming confident, responsible individuals in society.
My teaching style
My teaching style is student-centred, interactive, and adaptable. I focus on understanding each student’s learning needs and tailoring my approach accordingly. I break down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps, often using real-life examples, visual aids, and interactive activities to make learning engaging.

My Proudest Achievements
One of my proudest achievements is successfully completing my Master’s in Education, Ethics and Leadership at the University of Gloucestershire while adapting to the UK education system and working in a school at the same time. This experience strengthened my resilience, time management, and adaptability.
