Julia studies Global Sustainable Development at the University of Warwick (UK) and completed a study abroad year in Tinghua University (China). She achieved 44 points in the International Baccalaureate Diploma whilst engaging in a range of extracurriculars. She is currently an active member in a range of academic, social and cultural societies and sports clubs.

Achievements:
Julia previously held the positions of: Vice President of Warwick Association of British and Chinese University student, President of the Warwick First Aid Society and Unit Manager of the Warwick University Unit with St John’s Ambulance.

Julia has been in youth programmes and youth projects facilitated by Peabody. In the London International Model United Nations (LIMUN) – UN Environment Programme (UNEP) committee, she won the Best Delegate Award and Daniel Page Scholarship. Julia has also completed the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award and courses with the Princes’ Trust in Woodland Management and Nature Conservation. Julia has also completed a traineeship in Business Development.

Interests:
Julia enjoys learning about different cultures from language, to dance and food. Julia enjoys cooking, ice skating and Brazilian Jiujitsu.

I have been working as a professional tutor for nearly seven years. I graduated with a degree in HSPS from the University of Cambridge, and have been teaching a variety of humanities and English subjects ever since. I tutor English Language and Literature GCSE, Sociology A Level, Oxbridge admissions, as well as many other related-courses. Since 2020, I have adapted my work to a heavily online-based approach, though am available in person, particularly for summer school and teaching camps. Online, I utilise screensharing, PDF annotation, interactive whiteboards, shareable textbooks, past papers, and many other learning materials and worksheets that I have accumulated over the years, and in many cases technology that I have invested into, in order to make online tuition particularly engaging.

Dr Lewis Ebert holds a BA in German and Philosophy, an MPhil in Asian History, and a PhD in History, all from the University of Oxford. Now in his seventh year at Oxford, he was awarded a scholarship in his first year at St Hilda’s College and has since built a strong academic and tutoring career. With over 50 hours of tutoring experience, Lewis has successfully guided many students from their first steps in the application process through to their first day at Oxford or Cambridge. His support covers every stage, including admissions strategy, personal statements, interview preparation, and transition into the intensity of Michaelmas term.

Lewis offers tutoring in modern languages, English, philosophy, history, and Asian and Middle Eastern languages. A passionate linguist and teacher, he particularly enjoys helping students refine their ideas and sharpen their confidence for interviews. His approach combines deep subject expertise with a supportive and practical understanding of the Oxbridge journey, making him an ideal mentor for ambitious students aiming for top academic success.

Hi! My name is Alice and I have just finished a four year history degree at Durham University, including a year spent studying at Sciences Po in Paris. In September I will continue my studies at law school in London. I have been doing GCSE and IB tutoring for four years, and I help students in History, Geography and English, as well as the IB extended essay, Theory of Knowledge (TOK), university applications and lots more! I have a lot of experience of helping multiple students through intense exam preparation, coursework, and general content and improving essay writing techniques. I completed my IB in 2021 and achieved the maximum score of 45, including 7s in all of my subjects and 3 core points. I also have 10 GCSE’s grades 9-6, which includes grade 9s in English Language, History and Physical Education. I am super passionate about helping students improve and grow in their work, eventually preparing them for careers, university and jobs beyond school or college.

I am a dedicated medical student currently in my junior year at The University of Manchester, with a strong passion for education and supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. Through my experience as a medical student intern and entrepreneur in tutoring and admissions guidance, I have developed a compassionate, insightful approach to fostering learning and well-being in diverse learners. I am committed to creating inclusive environments that empower students to overcome barriers and achieve academic success.
