I am a dedicated and passionate tutor with dual Master’s degrees in Computer Science (Imperial) and Philosophy (Cambridge). My academic background has equipped me with a strong foundation in logical reasoning, problem-solving, and abstract thinking. I am eager to bring these skills to tutoring you Physics, Math, and Philosophy. I am also happy to provide general mentoring about these subjects.

At high-school level, I did IB (Sevenoaks School) and I got 766 (which is equivalent to A*AA) in Higher Level Physics, Math and Philosophy. I also received full marks for the Extended Essay in Philosophy.

I was born in Seoul, Korea and I moved from county to country for my entire childhood.

In my own time I practice Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and play chess. I am also building an edu-tech platform with friends from university.

Hello! I’m Ismaeel Ahmad Ayoob Syed, a third-year medical student at King’s College London with a deep passion for teaching and mentoring aspiring medical students. With a score of 3000 on the UCAT and a history of academic excellence, including a 43/45 in the IB and 8A* in IGCSEs, I bring both personal achievement and practical experience to my tutoring sessions.

During my time in school, I founded a club specifically designed to guide students through the medical school application process. This involved everything from UCAT preparation to interview practice, personal statement reviews, and in-depth research on different medical schools and their unique teaching styles. I conducted 1:1 sessions with students to analyze their strengths and weaknesses, creating individualized learning plans that helped them maximize their potential. My hands-on approach has been instrumental in helping many students gain a clearer understanding of the rigorous process of applying to medical school.

In addition to my work with prospective medical students, I also served as the president of an organization at my school that provided academic support to primary school students from lower socio-economic backgrounds. Hi! I am a second year medical student at UCL and I am keen to help other aspiring medics with the application process. Having recently been involved in the application process, my understanding of what medical schools are interested in is current, which is important for interview preparation. Additionally, having recently taken the BMAT and UCAT, I know all the techniques and strategies to achieve a high score which got me interviews at Cambridge, UCL, Bristol and Birmingham. I also achieved a 43 in the IB this year, taking HL Maths AA, Biology, and Chemistry and am happy to tutor in all of those subjects. With experience tutoring students in Maths and Sciences for the past two years, I have gained a good insight into adapting my teaching techniques and explanations for different students, ensuring each student understands topics and ideas clearly and effectively.

I have been working as a professional tutor for nearly seven years. I graduated with a degree in HSPS from the University of Cambridge, and have been teaching a variety of humanities and English subjects ever since. I tutor English Language and Literature GCSE, Sociology A Level, Oxbridge admissions, as well as many other related-courses. Since 2020, I have adapted my work to a heavily online-based approach, though am available in person, particularly for summer school and teaching camps. Online, I utilise screensharing, PDF annotation, interactive whiteboards, shareable textbooks, past papers, and many other learning materials and worksheets that I have accumulated over the years, and in many cases technology that I have invested into, in order to make online tuition particularly engaging.

My name is Tao Alexandra Swain and I am a 4th year medical student at the Hull York Medical School. With one year left until I graduate as an NHS trained Doctor, I can bring real-world insight into students medical school interview training. I have had numerous interview offers, both of which I have aced and failed, which gives me a unique insight into exactly what medical schools desire from their aspiring students. I have 2 years experience as an interview tutor, where all of my student successfully made it into medical school from their interviews! I LOVE medical school and everything that it has entailed; so much so that I want to help other students who, like me may not have the ‘perfect’ application, and really need to ace their interviews. I was born in London, but have had an international upbringing in Switzerland and Spain, and can therefore also speak German and Spanish to supplement where required.

Hi, I’m Vionnet and I graduated with upper second-class Honours from Durham University in Philosophy, Politics and Economics in 2024. I have been tutoring for over three years, and pride myself in taking a bespoke approach to each of my students. I have also gone on to teach the siblings of many students that I have previously taught. I primarily teach English, History and Latin, but can also teach Economics, Philosophy and Religious Studies. I also have experience with private school admission tests and interviews, with many of my students obtaining offers to their first-choice schools. Previously, I worked as a piano teacher, a primary school teaching assistant and as an equine camp counsellor, so I have lots of experience with children whose ages range from six to sixteen. In my free time, I enjoy crocheting and going to pilates.

Hi! My name is Latilda and I am a 3rd year medical student from Anglia Ruskin University. I can understand how exhausting the medicine application process can be and how difficult this can be to balance with preparing for exams. I can assure you that your academic success is my priority and am eager to help anyhow. From tutoring for GCSE/ A level subjects to personal statements, interviews and admissions exams I am willing to lend a helping hand. I have always enjoyed the sciences and psychology and constantly find myself fascinated by the human body. I am active in student life being part of the PsychNeuro committee and previously holding a role in the Widening Access to Medicine committee at my university.
