Hi! My name is Minhaj and I love tutoring. I am a recent graduate from the University of Cambridge with a master’s degree in engineering. I have quite a lot of experience when it comes to tutoring and mentoring students of all age groups in mainly STEM subjects. I have achieved 11A*s at GCSE and 4 A*s at A Level (in maths, further maths, physics and chemistry) so you can be confident in having me as your tutor for explaining even the most difficult content and helping you prepare well for exams!
My main academic interests lie within STEM areas, primarily maths and physics. This is why I chose to pursue engineering at university since it embodies both of these subjects with real-life applicable contexts. I did many super curricular activities throughout my academy journey including UKMT maths challenges (achieved GOLD twice) and attending the Isaac Physics Summer School at the University of Cambridge in Corpus Christi College (only 40 students were invited nationally).
I have experience in tutoring students from primary school all the way to students doing their A Levels (or equivalent). I also have experience in mentoring students for their university applications in STEM subjects including Oxbridge applicants. My primary area of focus for mentoring university applicants would be engineering applicants for Oxbridge & Imperial. But I am also looking to mentor students in other STEM areas such as physics, maths & computer science since the interviews and admissions test preparation often takes a similar journey. I am familiar with all the major UK STEM admissions test including the ESAT, ENGAA, NSAA, MAT, PAT and TMUA (I practised with these myself for my admissions test) so I would be willing to help students prepare for these. I currently mentor and tutor many students for STEM applications to top universities including Oxbridge and Imperial College London. I help students with all aspects of their application including helping with writing personal statements and preparing for admissions tests as well as interviews.
Hi! I’m Mieszko.
For my A-Levels, I picked 4 STEM-based subjects, and enjoyed them, so I ended up putting a lot of time into them, and got an A* in each. In college, I also completed a gold crest project, a project in partnership with the NHS, and a project with DSTL.
I was successful in an application to study Computer Science at Oxford, while helping to lead a twice-a-week 2 hour long mentoring sessions, tutoring 3 other students with their admissions tests. One of these got an interview at Oxford, another got into Oxford, and a third was successful in applying to Cambridge.
Outside college, I do a decent amount of sports, including hiking, squash and judo, and I did a DofE award through explorers. I play piano, watch a fair amount of TV and read a fair amount of books – recently both have been This Is Going To Hurt.
Hey! My name is Shyam and I am a 3rd year maths student at Cambridge. I have experience teaching younger students during A-levels as part of a charity program known as MathsMakers, where I volunteered to help students catch up with their peers by guiding them to learn and truly understand the mathematics they are being taught rather than blindly accepting rules. I enjoy teaching as it allows to to give back to the world as well as the opportunity to ensure students can appreciate what they are learning instead of memorising content for the sake of memorising it. I attended a non-grammar state school growing up so was not given sufficient help when preparing for entrance tests and interviews and aim to ensure that others don’t have to self-teach and instead can be given the attention and help required to prosper.

Hi! My name is Anmol and I am a second year Computer Science student at Cambridge University. I achieved 10 9s at GCSE including a 9 in maths and achieved 4 A*s at A-level in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Economics. Maths has always been my favourite subject at school and I hope to try and make it all of my student’s favourite subject if it isn’t already. I have lots of experience mentoring GCSE and A-level students in maths and physics, helping them achieve top grades. I am also happy to set and mark homework if the student would also like that. In addition, I am more than happy to help with the Cambridge University entrance process, whether it be providing feedback on personal statements, helping with university entrance exams or simply answering any general questions you may have. I also have plenty of resources which would be particularly useful for the TMUA and MAT entrance exams. I have also helped students clear the oxbridge admissions assessment with 4/5 of the students receiving offers.
Hi, my name is Abhay and I am an economics teacher at a prestigious private school in London, having graduated from Cambridge University (studying economics) with a strong Master’s.
I have extensive experience from practice and tutoring of TMUA, TSA and MAT papers, as well as GCSE and A-Level Maths and Economics, having tutored well over 1000 hours across four years.
Prior to university, I achieved 12 A*/9 at GCSE and 4 A* at A-Level at Westminster School. I received offers from Cambridge, LSE, Warwick and UCL for Economics, so I have an understanding of the admissions process. My role as a teacher of course only compounds this. Thus I also tutor for Personal Statements and, later, for interviews.
As an economics student, there is A LOT of Maths involved – hence me doing Further Maths at A-Level and achieving A*A* – I am kept fresh by the challenging Econometrics modules I have taken. Within economics, my strengths lie in Macroeconomics although my interest is probably in Micro! Outside of academics, I play the guitar, and sportswise I play cricket, badminton and football.
As a tutor, I teach collaboratively – you will be informing me of where you think you are weakest, and where you really want to focus – with a higher number of hours I would like to cover the whole syllabus, but this is not always possible of course.
Hi, I’m Varun
I currently study Computer Science at the University of Cambridge, having achieved near perfect grades in both IGCSE and IB. I have previously succeeded in both the BMO and come top 50 in the country in the BPhO, and I’m therefore perfect to tutor anyone to success in Maths, Physics and Computer Science.
Due to technology being a long-standing interest of mine (for the better part of a decade) I have extensive knowledge on a wide variety of topics, especially those that show up in personal statements and those ready to impress any admissions tutors. I have moderate to extensive experience in upwards of 10 programming languages, and experience developing in a wide array of fields in both personal projects and in a commercial environment.
I would love to assist those looking to ace their secondary school exams and/or university admissions so feel free to contact me if you would like my help.

Hello,
I’m Seyane, and I’m thrilled about the opportunity to join your child’s educational journey. As a dedicated tutor, my aim is to not only guide them toward academic excellence but also to inspire a lifelong love for learning.
My academic background includes being an Academic Scholar at St. Paul’s School and currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Economics at St. John’s College, Cambridge.
I’m confident in all aspects of the Cambridge Economics application process, from personal statement editing to admissions test and interview preparation. Having completed the process just last year, I bring the gift of hindsight and a wealth of resources for all three aspects of the application process.
To me, learning isn’t confined to textbooks; it’s a journey that empowers us to think critically, solve problems, and engage positively with the world. I’m excited to work with your child, nurturing both academic growth and a true passion for learning.
Thank you for considering me as your child’s potential tutor. Let’s embark on this educational journey together.
Best regards,
Seyane
Hi! My name is Aleksandra! I came to the UK as an international student five years ago and started studying in the first-ranked school in Britain regarding A-Level results. I enjoyed learning there. In contrast to the usual to me around 10 subjects and boring teachers, I found to entertain myself in lessons with engaging teachers often with dad jokes in the pocket and a very easy program consisting of only four and my favourite subjects. Later I was lucky to get accepted to all universities I applied to and I chose the University of Cambridge. Studying there turned out to be highly challenging but I enjoyed learning something new and coping with different issues. When I started university, I realised I am able to combine my studies with helping other students in achieving what I achieved and I became a tutor. I tutored children in English for a year but soon found out that I would be happier helping students of a greater age than 8-10 and was offered to help students with Oxbridge interviews. That was very interesting for me and I became to dive in into tutoring more and more. I hope one day I can help you too!
Hello!
I’m David and I have just finished my 3rd year of Engineering at Cambridge. I am a patient, friendly person, offering tutoring all the way from KS3 maths and science to Oxbridge admissions. I have been tutoring for just under 3 years and have tutored in a wide range of areas; I love to see the progression of students gaining confidence and become fluent in areas that once seemed really tough. Super passionate about engineering, I believe a thorough intuitive grasp of concepts is essential for subject mastery, hence in my lessons I try and foster a deep creative and intuitive understanding.
I have prior experience preparing students for Engineering and NatSci admissions, assisting with specific entrance exams and mock interviews, and also have guided a number of students throughout the University application process and offered personal statement advice.
