Hey! My name is Shyam and I am a 3rd year maths student at Cambridge. I have experience teaching younger students during A-levels as part of a charity program known as MathsMakers, where I volunteered to help students catch up with their peers by guiding them to learn and truly understand the mathematics they are being taught rather than blindly accepting rules. I enjoy teaching as it allows to to give back to the world as well as the opportunity to ensure students can appreciate what they are learning instead of memorising content for the sake of memorising it. I attended a non-grammar state school growing up so was not given sufficient help when preparing for entrance tests and interviews and aim to ensure that others don’t have to self-teach and instead can be given the attention and help required to prosper.

I am a Cambridge Mathematics student, who achieved all A*s in my A-levels in Maths, Further maths, Physics and Economics. To get into Cambridge, I also had to sit the maths STEP 2 and 3 papers, for which I achieved top grades S,1 respectively. I can teach new maths and further maths content using any exam board syllabus, through virtual one-to-one sessions. As someone who very recently went through the process of applying successfully to Oxbridge for a STEM subject, I can give helpful advice on the Oxbridge admissions process that can massively help you improve your application! I understand what it feels like to come from a school where perhaps going to Oxbridge isn’t a common route for students, and that can feel quite isolating during the application process, which is why I am eager to give advice to prospective applicants and de-myth any concerns.

Hi – I’m Rituraj, I recently graduated from a Masters in Maths and Philosophy at Oxford – and I obtained a first class degree. I achieved 5 A* at A-level and 11 9s at GCSE.

I have four years of tutoring experience – focusing on mathematics, philosophy and science tutoring for Oxbridge admissions/Olympiad/A-Levels/GCSEs/school admissions. This includes extracurricular mathematics, working through the syllabus, and interview prep.

I am interested in being a tutor because I am passionate about spreading my love of academia, and sparking an interest in the topics I myself am interested in. Having had previous experience in education, in both one-to-one personal tutoring and teaching in a structured class environment, I am certain this is my career path of choice, and this would be the perfect opportunity to further my career goals. Hi! My name is Aleksandra! I came to the UK as an international student five years ago and started studying in the first-ranked school in Britain regarding A-Level results. I enjoyed learning there. In contrast to the usual to me around 10 subjects and boring teachers, I found to entertain myself in lessons with engaging teachers often with dad jokes in the pocket and a very easy program consisting of only four and my favourite subjects. Later I was lucky to get accepted to all universities I applied to and I chose the University of Cambridge. Studying there turned out to be highly challenging but I enjoyed learning something new and coping with different issues. When I started university, I realised I am able to combine my studies with helping other students in achieving what I achieved and I became a tutor. I tutored children in English for a year but soon found out that I would be happier helping students of a greater age than 8-10 and was offered to help students with Oxbridge interviews. That was very interesting for me and I became to dive in into tutoring more and more. I hope one day I can help you too!

Hi everyone, I’m an Economics graduate from Emmanuel College, Cambridge, and I’m passionate about helping students achieve their goals. I believe that with the right guidance and mindset, everyone deserves the chance to strive and succeed — no matter their starting point.

I first started tutoring in sixth form, volunteering at my school’s Maths and Economics club. I worked with both struggling and high-achieving secondary school students to help them hit their respective targets. At university, I continued this through volunteering at aoutreach society, where I supported applicants with Economics admissions to Cambridge – from personal statements to mock interview preparation. I’ve always found it very rewarding to see students improve week by week and grow in confidence.

At A-level, I achieved A*s in Maths, Economics, and Further Maths, and was the only student in my school to qualify for the British Maths Olympiad. During university, I earned multiple Firsts across my core economics modules.

I offer tutoring in A-level Economics and Oxbridge admissions support, including personal statements and interview preparation. I try to be flexible around your schedule, and I usually ask students to share their goals or topics in advance so I can tailor the session to your needs.

My name is Anmol and I am a Computer Science graduate from the University of Cambridge and have completed my Masters in Computer Science from Imperial College London. I have 4 years of experience tutoring TMUA, MAT, STEP, A-level Maths and A-level Further Maths. I also have extensive experience helping with the University admissions process, providing mock interviews and personal statement help. I have helped over 20 students achieve Oxbridge offers and achieve their grades. This extensive experience allows me to quickly understand where students can improve and what topics may be best to focus on. I also created the TMUA and MAT notes for StudyMind and have expert insight into the resources. I personally did A-level Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Economics and achieved 4A*s and sat the TMUA and STEP exams where I got a 7.2 and Grade 1 respectively.
