My name is Haniyah, and I am a medical student at the University of Exeter with a strong passion for teaching and mentoring. I find great joy in helping others unlock their full potential, which is why I’m excited to offer my tutoring services. I believe every student has their own unique learning style, and I adapt my approach to suit their individual needs, whether it’s through visual aids, mnemonic techniques, or breaking down complex concepts into simple, digestible explanations. In addition to tutoring, I’ve had experience teaching and mentoring students, including helping Year 12 students prepare for medical school interviews and supporting them in achieving top grades in their studies. Having recently graduated from Queen’s University with a BSc (Hons) in Human Biology, I bring both deep subject knowledge and real-life study experience into every session. Hi, my name is Piraveen and I’m currently studying at Queen Mary’s after graduating from St George’s University of London. If you need any help with your studies in terms of Medicine or just the sciences I would be happy to help and get you the best results possible. I have attended QE Grammar School since Year 7 which is a very selective school and it pushed me beyond what I thought I was capable of. I will do my best to ensure that students achieve the best they can and to go beyond the scope of what I’m teaching as well if necessary. I will ensure that you will not only improve definitely at what I am teaching you but that you will do the best that you can. I have scored highly on my BMAT, UCAT and my GCSE’s, AS and A Levels so I know how hard it can be to attain high results and what it takes. I will provide engaging targeted lessons focusing on the parts where students struggle on but still remaining thorough to guide my students every step of the way.

I have graduated from the University of Oxford with a 2.1 in Philosophy and Theology. Prior to attending Oxford, I achieved A*A*A* in English Literature, Latin and Religious Studies, with 5 A*S, 4 Grade 9s and a Grade 8 in GCSEs.

For the past few years, I have been a private tutor which has also entailed mentoring young students and seeing them progress and achieving their dream spots at their universities. This has enabled me to build client relationships and to handle multiple concurrent tasks, since I balanced tutoring with my ability to thrive in Oxford’s rigorous academic environment. I also believe that I work well under time constraints and to meet deadlines, which is an ability that my time at Oxford has prepared me well for.

I am well-placed to provide tuition at 11 and 13+, as well as English Language, English Literature and RE GCSE, A-Level and degree-level tuition. I am also up-to-date on examination syllabi and the requirements needed for achieving top marks.

I have tutoring experience in GCSE English Language, GCSE English Literature, GCSE Religious Studies and Oxbridge Classics admissions. I also mentor students in application for Oxbridge Classics, as I changed degrees in my third year, and assisted a student in her successful entrance to Oxford for Classics via personal statement, interview/test advice and general information about the course and university life. I’m a recent graduate from Queen Mary University of London with a degree in Politics with Business Management and have over 8 years of teaching experience from Nursery to A-level in various subjects.

I have quite an interest in International Relations/Global Politics and enjoy linking current affairs with conceptual knowledge.

I love meeting new people and enjoy working together with students to help them achieve their personal goals in a tailored approach. Education is all about the journey and enjoying learning, and I aim to make your experience as friendly and enjoyable as possible.

Learning doesn’t have to be scary!

I have been working as a professional tutor for nearly seven years. I graduated with a degree in HSPS from the University of Cambridge, and have been teaching a variety of humanities and English subjects ever since. I tutor English Language and Literature GCSE, Sociology A Level, Oxbridge admissions, as well as many other related-courses. Since 2020, I have adapted my work to a heavily online-based approach, though am available in person, particularly for summer school and teaching camps. Online, I utilise screensharing, PDF annotation, interactive whiteboards, shareable textbooks, past papers, and many other learning materials and worksheets that I have accumulated over the years, and in many cases technology that I have invested into, in order to make online tuition particularly engaging.
