About Me
Hi there, I’m Rabia!
I’m a recent graduate from Queen Mary University of London with a degree in Politics with Business Management and have over 8 years of teaching experience from Nursery to A-level in various subjects.
I have quite an interest in International Relations/Global Politics and enjoy linking current affairs with conceptual knowledge.
I love meeting new people and enjoy working together with students to help them achieve their personal goals in a tailored approach. Education is all about the journey and enjoying learning, and I aim to make your experience as friendly and enjoyable as possible.
I don’t believe in a singular methodological approach, and I do my utmost best to understand how you like to learn so that lessons are geared at helping you achieve the best marks in whatever exams you’re taking! 🙂
Learning doesn’t have to be scary!
My teaching style
My teaching style is a personal approach, with a variety of methods best suited to your needs, concepts broken down factually and visually so you can best understand and link concepts together. I also like to teach concepts in groups to help you bunch ideas together and reduce the amount of information you have to remember to help with consolidation.
My Proudest Achievements
I was a runner-up at the ESU London Debate Challenge in 2013, and I’ve achieved the best grades at GCSE out of my cohort! I also decided to take a bit of A level Law on for fun in year 9!
