Hi there, and welcome! I’m a passionate tutor with years of experience helping students unlock their true academic potential.
Having recently graduated from Queen’s University with a BSc (Hons) in Human Biology, I bring both deep subject knowledge and real-life study experience into every session. I’ve tutored students across KS3 and Year 7 through to GCSE and A level, both in person and online, and I’m proud to say I’ve helped many achieve the grades they once thought were out of reach.
My approach is personal and purposeful: I work with each student to identify their individual areas of weakness, break down tricky concepts, and steadily build confidence topic by topic. Once they’ve built a solid foundation, we dive into past papers so they’re fully prepared for the wording, style, and structure of real exams. My goal is to help every student earn the results they deserve—and feel proud doing it.

My teaching style
My teaching style is student-focused, supportive, and adaptable. I take time to understand each learner’s strengths and struggles, and tailor sessions to suit their pace and goals. I simplify complex topics into manageable steps, making learning less stressful and more empowering. I use clear explanations, visual aids when needed, and lots of practice—including past papers—to build confidence and exam readiness. I also make sure students feel comfortable asking questions, because understanding always comes before memorising. Above all, I believe in progress, not pressure.
My past experience
I’ve tutored both in-person and online, supporting students from KS3 through to GCSE and Alevel in science and maths. I’ve worked with a wide range of learners, each with their own unique challenges and strengths. Whether it’s helping build foundational understanding or guiding students through past papers and exam prep, I’ve developed a strong track record of improving confidence and boosting results. This hands-on experience has taught me how to adapt to different learning styles and communicate complex ideas in a clear, approachable way.
My Proudest Achievements
One of my proudest achievements has been helping students overcome self-doubt and build lasting confidence in science and maths. I’m also proud of earning my BSc (Hons) in Human Biology from Queen’s University, which reflects my dedication and determination. But what truly makes me proud is seeing my students succeed and knowing I played a part in that journey.
