Hello Tutees! I’m Shaun, a 5th year medical student at Magdalene College, the University of Cambridge and I’m have an interest in surgery as well as neuroscience and molecular biology. I also intercalated in psychology in my 3rd year. I’m a fun, friendly and approachable tutor who’s really excited to help you all reach you’re, very achievable, goals!
I come from a town in Yorkshire where I went to an underperforming state comprehensive, no-one from my school had ever even applied for anywhere like Cambridge for medicine, me being here today is a testament to the additional time and effort I had to put in to my university application and A-levels. All that stress and work is handy though, I know an awful lot about university applications for medicine, to Cambridge and Oxford, as well as for general applications across the board. I achieved offers from everywhere I interviewed at (I withdrew from one of my options) so I can really be a good help for interview skills. I also achieved some of my schools best ever A-levels and even nabbed some golds in subject olympiads.
What can I do for you?

My name is Nathan, and I am a professional and friendly tutor with experience in several subjects.

I teach A-Level Psychology, research methods, data analysis, degree-level psychology (including clinical & forensic), report writing, literature reviewing and any topic of social sciences.

I can help you to improve your skills and knowledge in any of these subject areas, and help you to prepare for exams and have the best chance of achieving the results you want. I can also work with you to complete coursework, dissertations or professional projects. I also provide proofreading and constructive feedback to help improve your work.

I also teach several design subjects (graphic, product & interactive design), data visualization, and a range of analysis and design software, including Excel, SPSS, Qualtrics, Powerpoint, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.

Hello, my name is Jessica, and I’m from London. I have worked in education for three years and am currently training to become a psychotherapist. My passion lies in supporting young people, helping them build confidence, and guiding them toward achieving their goals.

For the past three years, I have worked as a special educational needs and disability (SEND) worker, providing tailored 1-1 support. I deeply believe that while some students require extra help, every learner benefits from specialized, catered guidance. Mary is a Psychology and Linguistics graduate from the University of Oxford, specializing in metacognition, language and thought, and ethical studies.

During her time at university, Mary actively contributed to various research initiatives. Notably, she collaborated with UCL and mental health charity States of Mind, investigating the impact of the education system on young people’s mental health. Mary also played a pivotal role in a research project at the Oxford Babylab, focusing on children’s body posture responses to failed or successful helping behavior. In addition to her research, Mary engaged with over 30 conferences, where she shared insights into educational psychology. Her impactful presentations extended to meetings with members of parliament in education select committees.
