Hello, I’m Sophie Charnley, an intelligent, conscientious, and hardworking individual dedicated to providing top-notch online tutoring. I excelled academically, achieving 3 A*s at A level in History, Geography, and Politics, along with 9 A*s and 1A at GCSE level. I graduated with first-class honour’s in History and Politics from the University of Edinburgh and recently earned a distinction in my Master’s PGDL law conversion from the University of Law in London. With extensive interview experience and firsthand knowledge of the Oxbridge application process, I am well-equipped to guide students towards academic success and help them achieve their educational goals. I wish to use my experience to help students in a tailored approach, achieve their potential in a fun and informative learning environment.

I am a qualified legal professional with multiple postgraduate degrees in law and a strong background in advocacy, legal research, and academic writing. Called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2019, I hold three LLMs—most recently in Intellectual Property Law (predicted Distinction), as well as in International Banking and Finance (Commendation), and the Bar Professional Training Course (Very Competent).

Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have developed a deep understanding of core legal subjects including criminal law, public law, and commercial law, which I now enjoy teaching and breaking down for students at all levels. I have experience mentoring aspiring lawyers, coaching mooting teams, and supporting students in understanding complex legal principles.
