About Me

I am a qualified legal professional with multiple postgraduate degrees in law and a strong background in advocacy, legal research, and academic writing. Called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2019, I hold three LLMs—most recently in Intellectual Property Law (predicted Distinction), as well as in International Banking and Finance (Commendation), and the Bar Professional Training Course (Very Competent).

Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have developed a deep understanding of core legal subjects including criminal law, public law, and commercial law, which I now enjoy teaching and breaking down for students at all levels. I have experience mentoring aspiring lawyers, coaching mooting teams, and supporting students in understanding complex legal principles. My approach is structured, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs, ensuring they not only grasp key content but also build the confidence to apply it effectively in exams and practical settings.

My experience spans legal practice and public interest work—from tribunal advocacy and legal drafting to in-depth research on pharmaceutical regulation and social justice campaigns. These experiences have refined my ability to explain legal concepts clearly and to support students with both theoretical and practical aspects of legal education.

I am passionate about legal education and committed to helping learners succeed academically and professionally. Whether supporting students preparing for LLB exams, BPTC modules, or legal writing assignments, I bring patience, clarity, and enthusiasm to every session.

My teaching style

My teaching style is student-centred, supportive, and results-driven. I adapt my approach to suit each learner’s needs—whether they require help understanding core legal principles, refining exam technique, or developing advocacy skills. I focus on building a strong foundation through clear explanations, practical examples, and interactive dialogue. I use real-world case studies, problem questions, and tailored exercises to encourage critical thinking and application of legal knowledge. I also provide structured feedback and strategic guidance to help students track progress and build confidence. Ultimately, my goal is to empower students to think independently and perform at their best academically and professionally.

My past experience

Yes, I have experience tutoring law students in both academic and practical legal subjects. I have supported students preparing for undergraduate law exams, the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC), and LLM assessments. My tutoring has focused on developing legal analysis, essay writing, and exam technique. I have also coached students in advocacy and mooting, drawing from my own experience in competitions and professional hearings. Additionally, in previous roles—including as a County Court Advocate and Hearings Coordinator—I mentored junior colleagues and guided others through complex legal procedures, further strengthening my ability to explain legal concepts clearly and effectively.

My Proudest Achievements

One of my proudest achievements is being called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2019, which marked the culmination of years of academic and professional dedication. I am also proud of my pro bono advocacy work, where I represented vulnerable clients and helped them navigate complex legal proceedings. Another key achievement is my legal research contribution to the “Vertex Save Us” campaign, where I analysed pharmaceutical access laws to support individuals with cystic fibrosis. These experiences reflect my commitment to justice, legal excellence, and using my skills to make a tangible difference in people’s lives.

In addition, I am a proud tutor in that I have a 100% pass rate with all my students.
