Hi, I’m Imaan. I’m a third year medical student at the University of Plymouth, I know the interview process inside out and I know that it takes A LOT of determination. I have independently achieved all my medical school offers and thats why I know that although it seems impossible, there’s always a way to achieve your dreams and I’m here to help you find it! I have lots of experience coaching students and am easy to talk to. I have had to deal with the daunting experience of applying to medical school, independently, including; taking the UCAT exam twice! This has taught me everything there is to know about the test and I have developed many tips and tricks. I am also a foundation student and this pathway requires a lot of thought and planning, I’d be happy to answer any questions regarding any of the unconventional pathways to medicine. My motto is always being there to help, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask them!
Hi, my name is Joanna a current Foundation Year 2 doctor, eager to connect with you to create a learning environment that best fits your learning style and helps you achieve your dreams.
The road to medicine can be long, however, I aim to pass down the wealth of knowledge that I have gained over the years to ensure that your journey will be one where you enjoy the application process and cultivate long-term skills to help you as you enter medicine. Building up endurance and stamina for this journey can only be done with guidance and advice.
Know that you do not have to go through this process alone and that we are here for you to support every need you have during this path.
Apart from medicine, I love languages and often take pride in the number of languages I can communicate. I enjoy teaching IELTS and have helped many students get through this exam with higher scores than they aspired for.
I hope you are ready to embark on this journey together. Be ready to come to each session eager to learn and walk out of the session inspired to learn more.
Hi! My name is Maya and I’m a third year medical student at the University of Liverpool. I remember how worried I was throughout the whole medical application process, and to be honest, I wish I had a tutor who could spend time going over UCAT questions and interview practice with me. During my time in sixth form however, I have collated a lot of resources for different elements of the process. Hopefully I can share my knowledge with students and make the long process a little less stressful! With enough interview and exam practice with me, you’ll be ready to take on anything!
I have listed some of my results below:
A-Levels:
Biology – A*
Chemistry – A
GCSEs:
Biology- 9
Chemistry – 8
Maths – 7
Interview offers:
Keele, Birmingham and Liverpool
I wish you the best with your medicine application 🙂

Hi there!
My name is Sahar and I am a third year medical student at UCL.
I achieved top grades for my GCSEs and A-levels, receiving A**/9 – A/7 in all my subjects, including level 9s in Chemistry, Physics and Maths GCSEs and an A* in A-level Maths.
I have also received awards at school for my performance in some of these subjects, including a mathematics award given to one KS3 student per year, as well as certificates for participating in the annual UK maths and biology challenges.
My favourite subjects at school were biology and maths, as I enjoyed solving problems by working with numbers, and learning interesting concepts about the human body. Hence I would love to share my love for these subjects with other students through tutoring!
I can also be quite flexible with lesson timings as well as teaching methods / lesson structures.
I am a driven, ambitious and enthusiastic tutor and medical student at top Russell Group University in London. I have years of experience teaching various subjects, including Biology, Chemistry, Maths, UKiset, Medical Admissions Tests along with 11+ CSSE and GL, . The main focus in my teaching is allowing students to actively engage with the lesson allowing them to understand the content at hand, giving them the ability to freely ask questions throughout the study and using past paper questions to practice with students to provide them with a realistic idea of what will come up in their examinations. I constantly endeavour to create a strong rapport with the student, which builds foundations of mutual trust and respect, enabling students to feel comfortable to ask questions and engage with the lesson.
I believe that my experience as a tutor has allowed me to understand the difficulties and realities of tutoring online, students at times may not always be engaged with the lesson; this is because, in real life, there is an element of non-verbal communication that cannot be expressed online, therefore during my studies where I share my iPad screen, I make lots of use of the laser pointer tool to add some non-verbal communication element to my address and to keep students actively engaged. I understand that this is more difficult with younger students. However, ensuring the class is as interactive as possible can enable great success with student learning.

Hello, I’m Talhah Bin-Islam—a highly driven biomedical science graduate preparing to begin Graduate Entry Medicine at the University of Nottingham. I am deeply passionate about education, academic excellence, and mentoring the next generation of achievers. I have extensive tutoring experience across a wide range of subjects, supporting students from 11+, KS2, KS3, GCSE, A-Level, and beyond. I also specialize in university preparation, including medical school applications at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
My approach is not just about delivering knowledge but building strategic thinking, resilience, and long-term success. I believe in creating high-impact results by tailoring learning to each student’s aspirations. With a strong foundation in medicine, education, and personal development, I bring energy, precision, and ambition to every session. I am committed to helping every student unlock their full potential and push beyond what they believe is possible.
I have been tutoring for almost a decade now, different subjects and various ages. I taught students from as little as 4 and up to 58. I do believe that the way I teach a student and the technique I choose for them is not based on the age range but on the student themself. Every individual absorbs information in a different way regardless of their age and every individual also understands at a different pace. This has nothing to do with one being smarter than the other but this is how the human brain is, every brain is different and that is fine. We as teachers have to understand that brain and approach in the way that is tailored to it.
Tutoring may be a job but it is a hobby as well, I adore helping people realise how smart they are and to enhance their knowledge. This is actually one of the main reasons why I chose Psychology and Counselling as my degree, communicating and helping people is something very important to me.
