Hi, my name is Lewis! I am currently studying in the UK’s highest ranked University for Computer Science, (Heriot-Watt University) and I share a passion for learning and educating others. From a young age I have always been interested in electronic devices, when I was 14 I taught myself the computer languages C and C++ and from that time I have since excelled at school and entered my dream University. I have faced some challenges in my life, including being an unpaid carer for my my two younger brothers who both have autism, however caring for them over my life has greatly aided in my communication skills and built resilience in tough situations. When I was attending high school I was recognised for my high proficiency in both English and Computer Science, an unusual combination which has greatly aided in my ability to teach others on the subject I am most enthusiastic about.

Having attended a state school (and attaining the best GCSE grades: https://www.nhsg.org.uk/latestnews/gcse-results-a-birthday-to-remember), I understand the endless hard work and effort that goes into oxbridge applications and education in general. No student should be disadvantaged and I’d love to make their lives easier by passing on my experiences and success with getting into the top universities (Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, KCL). Although a massive part of it is luck, hard work can get you anywhhere; it’s just about knowing where to put in the hard work to achieve the best results! Personal statements, ENGAA, and interviews can be exhausting if they aren’t handled in the right way, without appropriate guidance but as an engineer, solving problems efficiently is at the heart of what I do so I hope that can be applied to giving you the best chance possible of achieving your dreams 🙂

My name is Youssef, and with over 5 years of comprehensive teaching experience, I’ve developed a deep understanding of subjects ranging from biology and chemistry to physics and computer science. Specializing in various exam boards such as AQA, Edexcel, OCR, and WJEC, I ensure a tailored approach to meet the specific needs of my students.

In biology, I delve into topics like genetics, evolution, and ecology, igniting a passion for the natural world. I have assisted my students in developing their coding skills and understanding the theoretical foundations of computer science. My versatility as an educator extends to teaching English, where I enhance reading, writing, and comprehension skills, instilling critical thinking and effective communication abilities. With experience teaching students of various age groups, including those with ADHD and dyslexia, I tailor my approach to each individual’s needs and interests. Outside of teaching, my hobbies include playing video games, listening to music, watching movies, and photography. Dr Naila is a dedicated and results-driven researcher with a PhD (thesis submitted) in Computer Science from the University of Glasgow and over seven years of experience in research, teaching, and academic mentoring. Her core expertise lies in the domain of cybersecurity, with particular emphasis on data privacy, threat modeling, expert systems, logical reasoning, and artificial intelligence. She has successfully led and contributed to innovative projects aimed at advancing cutting-edge technologies to protect sensitive data in autonomous and complex systems. Known for her exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, Naila thrives in collaborative environments and excels in fostering teamwork and communication. Her research interests extend to data protection regulations, complex systems modeling, and human-computer interaction, with a keen focus on bridging theoretical concepts with real-world applications to address pressing challenges in technology and security.

I recently graduated with a BSc Computer Science (Hons) degree with First Class Honors. I am currently interviewing with companies to find the right fit for me and have decided to become a tutor to teach people about computers. I am an extremely passionate individual when it comes to computing and have been programming for 5+ years. I generally work in Web development, AI and mobile development and also embedded systems to some extent which include ESP32 boards and Raspberry PI’s. I am currently working on my projects and would love to show them to you if you’re interested so you can learn more about my skills and how I can better suit you. Besides computers, I love playing sports mainly cricket and badminton. I like DJing even though I’m not very good at it and my friends hate the noise. I am planning to pursue a master’s in AI in the future.

I am Nathan, a graduate of Queen Mary University of London with a First-Class Honours degree in Mathematics with Actuarial Science. I have a genuine passion for mathematics, actuarial science, and the insurance industry. Over the years, I’ve developed strong analytical skills, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and a methodical approach to problem-solving.

I’ve worked as an Actuarial Analyst and Reconciliations Administrator, gaining valuable experience in pricing models, data analysis, and reconciliation processes. For the past five years, I’ve also been a tutor, helping students understand complex mathematical concepts in a way that works for them.
