Hey, I’m Adnan! During my academic journey, I developed a deep love for Medicine at a young age charged by a fascination with the anatomy of the human body and a desire to help others, and I have always been eager to share my knowledge and enthusiasm for this field with others. I have 5 years of experience working as a tutor and educator, helping students of all ages and backgrounds succeed in their education. My goal is not only to help students achieve academic success but also to foster a lifelong passion for learning.

Apart from my professional pursuits, I’ve achieved a Grade 8 in piano. Playing the piano for many years has improved my manual dexterity and precision, skills essential in patient care. I’ve also explored my creativity through piano, participating in Christmas concerts, university events, and care home performances in Leicestershire. I’ve even composed my own music. Alongside this, I excel in table tennis, honing my concentration and aptitude. My accomplishments include earning the Gold DofE award and NCS, instilling discipline and teamwork skills. I derive joy from traveling, exploring natural wonders, and connecting with diverse communities, inspired by my DofE experiences. Additionally, I have a passion for personalising and interior designing my home through painting and decorating. Finally, I’ve been a dedicated magician for seven years, performing sleight of hand, card manipulation, illusions, and mind-reading tricks at weddings, family gatherings, and among friends.

Hi! My name is Tristan and I am a 2nd year Business Student at the University of Lancaster. It would be a pleasure to tutor you or your child on whatever topic they may need guidance on, whether that be English A level or Biology GCSE. When I was gearing up for my GCSE exams, my parents hired a Maths tutor to give me support and guidance in a way that helped me achieve the greatest possible result I could have asked for, so I understand from personal experience just how helpful a good tutor can be. My specialities can be found in English, where I am studying for a minor at the University level, Business, my major degree, and the Sciences, which I excelled at throughout School, achieving an A* grade at GCSE level.

To summarise, I understand how important a good tutor is, and what a good tutor looks like. Hi I’m Tasio and have just completed my final year at The University of Edinburgh doing a BSc with Honours in Acoustics and Music Technology. I am passionate about the intersection between physics and music and am keen to share this excitement with your child. I am an experienced tutor, have been teaching for over 2 years and having completed over 400 lessons in this time. My specialisms are in Maths, Further Maths and Physics KS3, GCSE and A-Level and also can teach French and Spanish for all levels due to my native proficiency in these languages. I am an adaptable individual and can tailor lessons to suit your child’s needs, may it be, developing confidence in a subject, or, achieving a specific grade goal for public exams. Having achieved 2A*s and 2As at A-Level in Maths, Spanish, Further Maths and Physics and having achieved 12A*s and 9s at GCSE I hope to be able to share all the tips and tricks that I learnt to succeed.

I am a human biology student with a passion for the intricacies of the human body, whether it is in high-performance sport, cognition, or epidemiology.
I have as much of an interest in anatomy as I do in healthcare, and have extensive connections in both areas.
I am very academically well-rounded; as well as biology I have a breadth of knowledge in English literature (both classical and contemporary), and an in-depth understanding of music theory, performance, and history.
I am passionate about learning and encouraging a lifelong love of learning; not just the ability to memorise but the ability to understand, apply, and use knowledge to challenge or uphold conventions.
Outside of academia I love to be outdoors; I run (a nationally successful UK ‘fell’ (mountain) runner), swim, cycle, and walk. I love listening to music, live and at home, and play in bands locally.

With over eight years of experience as a fully qualified teacher—including roles as Music Subject Lead and Maths—I am passionate about making learning engaging, accessible, and fun. My mission is to build confidence and instil a love for learning, especially in those who find maths or music difficult. Recognised with a Highly Commended Award for Pearson’s National Teacher of the Year in a secondary school (2022), I take pride in delivering tailored, supportive lessons that truly make a difference.

Prior to my teaching career, I travelled to the UK from Australia with a full University Scholarship to study music. I was fortunate to perform with some of the best Brass Bands in the world, traveling on tour with them all over the world. Having achieved the prestigious Harry Mortimer Performance Prize, and winner the British Cornet Solo Championships, I continued my journey by serving in the British Army as a professional trumpeter in the Coldstream Guards Scots Guards Band. It was here where I found the love of teaching. Following my Military career, I became a fully trained Music teacher and experienced 8+ years teaching in a variety of education settings such as Primary, Secondary and SEN/D schools. Throughout this time, I developed a passion for teaching Maths and working with learners who are SEN, Neurodiverse, anxious and lacking in confidence. Having struggled with Maths as a school student, I was driven to making Maths more fun, exciting, enjoyable and accessible – being the teacher I always needed! I am now delving into the world of tutoring where I can reach more learners that need me.
