Hi. My name is Reza I am currently a third-year medical student at the University of Glasgow. I remember how daunting and struggling it was the first time I was beginning to apply for medical school. From A-levels, Interviews, UCAT and personal statements there were a lot of things I had no idea about. This sense of feeling ‘lost’ is the primary reason I took on this role at medic mind. I genuinely want to teach and more importantly, fix aspiring students’ mistakes. I don’t want them to make the same ones I made and learned from during my time applying to university. Through my experiences, I want to guide young people to help get into medical school. I also was a former medic mind tutee myself so I am familiar with the system and how to approach students. In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball and cycling. Recently though, I have picked up the hobby of cooking.
Hi, my name is Arun and I am currently a 5th year medical student at Sheffield University. I had 4 interviews and received offers from all four. I am a well-experienced tutor having completed over 2000 hours of tutoring in a range of topics, from GCSEs and A-Levels to UCAT and interviews as well as university consultations
I was one of the few students to undertake the A-level exams in November 2020 after my exams were cancelled due to Coronavirus. I am dyslexic so I have weird and wonderful ways to remember critical information and I hope I can support prospective doctors (dyslexic or non) to achieve their dream of becoming a medical professional.
I was not labelled as your typical medical student by my school. I continued to persevere until I reached the goal that I set for myself, with the help of my family.
I hope we can work well together and achieve what you want, just like I did. 🙂
Hi! I’m Soumya, a fourth-year medical student at Norwich Medical School. GCSEs, A levels, UCAS, UCAT, and Interviews can be really stressful for students especially those aiming for top grades and universities, having successfully been though the process I am in great position to help students.
I have achieved all grade 8/9s (A*s) at GCSE and then 5 A* at A level (Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Physics and EPQ) I am in a great position to offer effective exam advice that will help you achieve top grades whilst also solidifying your knowledge. I enjoy challenging myself academically and have taken part in various competitions and achieved awards including Silver in Biology olympiad, Bronze in the Chemistry Olympiad, Bronze in the Cambridge chemistry challenge and Bronze in the UKMT senior challenge. I’ve always been very passionate about Science and Math and in my lessons, I hope to help you understand the different processes or techniques you will encounter whilst also helping you become familiar with Exam questions as well- vital in helping you achieve top grades. I have over 200 hours of experience with medic mind where I helped my students top grades in a range of subjects including A level Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Physics
Interviews can be really daunting but I believe that you can do extremely well with enough practice, confidence and a few tips which is what helped me achieve my offer for medicine at UEA and these are some of the areas I will focus on in my sessions. My sessions will be tailored to you and this will help you focus on and develop your weaknesses- this has proven effective as a lot of my students have achieved offers (even multiple offers) from their universities. You will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and practise your interview techniques and skills which will increase your confidence for your interviews.
I am quite passionate about helping others- I guided students in my school through my role as a prefect, volunteered at the children’s trust charity shop for 6 months and I am current my medical school’s rep. In my free time, I usually catch up with family, and friends or bake/cook. I believe it is really important to have a balance in life to avoid burnout.
As you can see from my numerous reviews I am very approachable and friendly. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

I come from a town in Yorkshire where I went to an underperforming state comprehensive, no-one from my school had ever even applied for anywhere like Cambridge for medicine, me being here today is a testament to the additional time and effort I had to put in to my university application and A-levels. All that stress and work is handy though, I know an awful lot about university applications for medicine, to Cambridge and Oxford, as well as for general applications across the board. I achieved offers from everywhere I interviewed at (I withdrew from one of my options) so I can really be a good help for interview skills. I also achieved some of my schools best ever A-levels and even nabbed some golds in subject olympiads.
What can I do for you?
I am a final year medical student at Flinders University who is about to graduate soon. In addition, to studying medicine at Flinders I have also participated in extracurriculars such as university sports and medrevue, as stage manager. Medrevue which is a musical that is organized by medical students every year.
I moved to Australia 10 years ago and did not have much experience with their tertiary education system. However, my experiences with volunteering and private tutoring helped me build a network which later helped me gain useful advice when trying to seek admission into an undergraduate university course. I believe I would be of use to anyone who needs some mentoring while trying to navigate the tertiary education system in Australia.
The networks I was able to establish during the course of my undergraduate degree helped me a lot when trying to gain admission into medicine in Australia. I studied Bachelors of Biomedicine at University of Melbourne graduating with a First class Honors Average and a GPA of 6.8out of a maximum of 7. I was a subjective representative as well. Following my undergraduate degree a spent an year of honors research with the aged care group at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. As a result of my research I was able to publish articles in reputable journals.
I am currently studying medicine at Flinders where some members of the faculty have let me know that I have been scoring in the top 10 % of students. I am a anatomy/dissection tutor for junior medical students as well
Hi my name is Anna and I am a doctor and Cardiff graduate. Whether you’re reading this profile in search for GCSE tuition or as part of a journey in applying to medicine, I’d love to help.
I have a real passion for teaching and have ten years experience tutoring GCSE students. For me, GCSE is all about having a strong understanding of the syllabus, focusing particularly on areas you feel least confident with and learning how to apply your knowledge into answers that fit the exam mark schemes. Consequently, my GCSE lessons focus particularly on past paper questions so that when it comes to exam day, you feel confident in your answers and include all key points.
I love getting involved with all aspects of medicine applications including tutoring for interviews, personal statement advice and working at the open days at Cardiff. I have also sat on the MMI interview panel at Cardiff so I know what stands out! It seems like yesterday I was applying to medical school and I know what an incredibly tough and anxious time it can be. It’s often a game of jumping through hoops so I want to share my experiences, help with applications and hopefully help you to achieve that deserved place at medical school.

I have recently graduated from St George’s in London this year and had posters and abstracts accepted at European surgical conferences while studying there. In addition to my NHS commitments, I work part time on the pitch at Tottenham Hotspur Football club as a groundsman. My previous degree was at Cardiff University where I was awarded a 2:1 in an integrated Masters of Chemistry (Hons) degree. I achieved 68% in my masters project based on the drug delivery capabilities of a metal organic hybrid framework. In my spare time I like to explore the different restaurants in London, catch up with friends and play football. I also enjoy skiing where I have competed in national competitions.

I’m currently a Foundation Year 2 Doctor practicing in Nottingham, and achieved top marks in exams in medical school. I started working for Medic Mind in the summer of 2020 as I wanted to give back and share my expertise and experiences with budding student doctors. I myself attended courses on the UCAT and interview, and I know how valuable it can be to have someone guide you through the content of those examinations.
I’ve worked over 1000 hours for Medic Mind so far and have had fantastic feedback from my students. I have experience in helping students with the UCAT, personal statements and interviews. I take great pleasure in helping other people succeed and I hope I can do the same for you!
Hi, my name is Joanna a current Foundation Year 2 doctor, eager to connect with you to create a learning environment that best fits your learning style and helps you achieve your dreams.
The road to medicine can be long, however, I aim to pass down the wealth of knowledge that I have gained over the years to ensure that your journey will be one where you enjoy the application process and cultivate long-term skills to help you as you enter medicine. Building up endurance and stamina for this journey can only be done with guidance and advice.
Know that you do not have to go through this process alone and that we are here for you to support every need you have during this path.
Apart from medicine, I love languages and often take pride in the number of languages I can communicate. I enjoy teaching IELTS and have helped many students get through this exam with higher scores than they aspired for.
