LAMDA Tutors : 1-1 LAMDA Preparation

Hello! I’m Elizabeth, a University of Cambridge graduate (June 2023) with a 1st class degree in Education, English, Drama and the Arts from Homerton College. My degree was very broad in scope, covering areas from Education Policy and International development, to Literature and Poetics studies, Sociology, Philosophy and Drama and Theatre History.
I also achieved A*s in English Literature and Drama and Theatre studies at A-Level, and an A in History.
I have a TEFL qualification, and experience teaching English and volunteering in classrooms (in the UK and in Thailand) as well as on a one-to-one basis.
I can also help with University applications and interview preparations, particularly for Humanities degrees at Oxbridge .
It would be my pleasure to help you with any of the above areas, or I also offer general confidence building and public speaking sessions, having achieved distinctions in both Grade 8 LAMDA Acting and Public speaking.

Hi, my name is Ips. I’m an undergraduate Biomedical Science student from the UK.

I am creative, adaptable, and forward-thinking, with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to develop and manage relationships.

I am an ambitious, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual looking to develop my academic skills in the professional world of healthcare and science. I am also a keen learner in all fields and aspects. Further to add, I am adept at public speaking and am receptive to change, and willing to learn and take on board exciting challenges.

I like writing and have written several unpublished short books and articles. Aside from my love of traveling, I also enjoy playing sports and reading. If I’m missing, then it’s best to look for me in the kitchen whipping together a tasty meal or punching the bag at my gym for the extra pump of endorphins and dopamine.

I’m often found dawdling in the world of academic creativity. As a nerd who doesn’t always ace her exams, I’m always there for a good conversation with a strong espresso at hand 🙂

My name is Kate Valentine Crisp, and I am a writer and educator, raised in Glastonbury I am now based in London. I love teachings and sparking excitement and intrigue amongst my pupils.
Education should be joyful, uplifting, and inspiring. It’s a gateway through which students can unlock their futures, deepen their understanding of the world, and ultimately discover more about themselves. I love working with young people to help them achieve their educational goals. There’s something incredibly rewarding about witnessing that moment when a concept clicks or when a student begins to feel genuine excitement about a subject they once found daunting. My own enthusiasm for my chosen topics fills me with such joy and sharing that with my tutees is a privilege.
More than simply providing the right tools for academic success, I want to spark a sense of curiosity and fascination in my students. My goal is to encourage them to push themselves not out of necessity, but out of genuine interest, a desire to explore, question, and grow.
