Hi, I’m Meera , a second-year medical student at the University of Manchester, where I’ve not only excelled academically but also gained extensive experience supporting fellow students. With a 2940 score on the UCAT, I was successful in securing offers from all four of my medical school applications, and I’ve since helped coach others to do the same—whether it’s interview preparation, personal statement guidance, or overall strategy. I achieved top grades with three A’s in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths at A-level, and I’ve tutored students from 11+ to A-level in a variety of subjects. Alongside my focus on science and medicine, I have a deep passion for humanities, having studied History and Geography, and I hold a Grade 8 in LAMDA, which has sharpened my public speaking, drama, and English skills. My experience extends beyond the classroom—I’ve volunteered on a pediatric ward, where I gained invaluable experience working with children. I’m passionate about helping students of all ages unlock their potential, whether in science, humanities, or communication skills, and I’m eager to support you in achieving your academic goals.

I am a first-year student at University College London (UCL), currently pursuing my undergraduate studies. Having thoroughly enjoyed my academic journey throughout GCSEs and A-Levels, I developed a strong passion for subjects including Economics, English Literature, History of Art, and Geography. My positive experiences during secondary school, shaped by engaging teaching methods and stimulating course content, have inspired me to share my enthusiasm for learning with others.Outside of my studies, I enjoy playing tennis, visiting art galleries, and spending time with friends, activities which complement my academic interests and broaden my perspective. Spending time in London has allowed me to come into contact with many cultures and experiences that have shaped my education, understanding, and a general broader knowledge of the world.

I am a first-year medical student at University College London (MBBS) with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for teaching and mentoring students. Alongside my studies, I tutor students from KS1 and KS3 through to GCSE and A-level across Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Spanish, and admissions-related preparation. Beyond academics, I have always been actively involved in drama, acting, and sport, which has played a major role in shaping how I teach. Performing on stage taught me confidence, clarity of communication, and how to engage an audience, while sport instilled discipline, resilience, and the importance of consistent practice.

I have completed over 100 hours of tutoring, working with students of varying abilities and learning styles, including SEN students. These experiences have reinforced my belief that no two students learn in the same way, and that effective teaching must be flexible and empathetic. I take time to understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and motivations before tailoring lessons to suit them.

Having recently completed my own A-levels and transitioned into medical school, I understand the academic pressure students face and the frustration of knowing content but underperforming in exams. I aim to bridge that gap by helping students build confidence, develop strong exam technique, and, most importantly, begin to enjoy what they are learning. I firmly believe that students perform best when they feel supported, understood, and genuinely enjoy their studies.

I specialise in teaching LAMDA Acting, Devising Drama, public speaking, and performance skills, working with young people to build confidence, creativity, and clear communication.

I create a safe and supportive environment where students feel encouraged to take creative risks, make mistakes, and grow in confidence both on and off the stage.

Alongside my teaching work, I am a professionally trained actor and voice actor. I have trained in screen acting at Run At It SHOUTING and Act Up North and hold a Grade A HNC in Acting and Performance. My professional experience includes stage work at the Edinburgh Fringe and voiceover work for major global brands. This industry experience allows me to bring real-world insight into my teaching, helping students develop strong performance technique, vocal clarity, emotional truth, and stage presence.

I have taught LAMDA and drama in schools for several years, guiding students through exams, performances, and devised work, while also supporting their personal development. My aim is always to help students feel confident, capable, and proud of their progress, using drama as a powerful tool for self-expression, communication, and self-belief.
