I am a very keen tutor who will always put in a lot of effort to the classes and the students to aid them and guide them on their learning journey. I find the greatest satisfaction when a struggling student begins to thrive or understand a topic they previously found difficult. I specialise in getting into medicine help, particularly interview preparation and the sciences for the higher education levels, however I excelled at the humanities and arts at GCSE level and below and can teach these well. I adapt lessons to fit the student’s learning style, break down complex ideas into understandable parts, and always aim to make learning feel less intimidating and more enjoyable. Having worked with children and teenagers in schools, clubs, and healthcare settings, I know how to create a positive and supportive learning environment. Whether you’re preparing for exams or just need extra help with schoolwork, I’m here to help you succeed at your own pace!
My teaching style
My teaching style is adaptable, reassuring, and encouraging. I use clear explanations, active recall, and will always change my method if it is not suiting the pupils learning style. I focus on building on exam technique, knowledge and confidence.
My past experience
Yes, I’ve tutored students in subjects like GCSE sciences, and maths, I also tutored year 1 medical students. I’ve worked in schools and children’s holiday clubs, and supported learning through fun and structured activities.
My Proudest Achievements
Getting an A* in EPQ and Chemistry, getting multiple offers for medicine and progressing well in the degree.
