I’m a medical student with over 3 years of tutoring experience, dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals through clear, structured, and engaging teaching. Having performed exceptionally well in both GCSEs and A-levels to secure a place at a top UK university, I understand what it takes to succeed and am committed to helping others reach their full potential.

I specialise in tutoring GCSE Maths, English, Science, History, and Citizenship at GCSE and KS3 level, and I have developed strong skills across a wide range of subjects. My teaching focuses on making challenging topics easy to understand by breaking them down into manageable steps and creating tailored revision materials that support long-term retention.

Furthermore, I have experience in UCAT, Personal Statement and MMI/Panel interview mentoring!

I have graduated from the University of Oxford with a 2.1 in Philosophy and Theology. Prior to attending Oxford, I achieved A*A*A* in English Literature, Latin and Religious Studies, with 5 A*S, 4 Grade 9s and a Grade 8 in GCSEs.

For the past few years, I have been a private tutor which has also entailed mentoring young students and seeing them progress and achieving their dream spots at their universities. This has enabled me to build client relationships and to handle multiple concurrent tasks, since I balanced tutoring with my ability to thrive in Oxford’s rigorous academic environment. I also believe that I work well under time constraints and to meet deadlines, which is an ability that my time at Oxford has prepared me well for.

I am well-placed to provide tuition at 11 and 13+, as well as English Language, English Literature and RE GCSE, A-Level and degree-level tuition. I am also up-to-date on examination syllabi and the requirements needed for achieving top marks.

I have tutoring experience in GCSE English Language, GCSE English Literature, GCSE Religious Studies and Oxbridge Classics admissions. I also mentor students in application for Oxbridge Classics, as I changed degrees in my third year, and assisted a student in her successful entrance to Oxford for Classics via personal statement, interview/test advice and general information about the course and university life. Therefore, I am available to support Oxbridge Classics admissions.

Hi! I’m a final year Dental student at the University of Manchester 🙂 I’ve had lots of experience in tutoring students and prospective students one on one, reviewing personal statements (even if they’re for different courses or courses that are slightly related – e.g. Medicine!), and I’ve provided a lot of Q&A sessions for how I got into Uni and how I got 4/4 of my offers.

I received offers from King’s College London, Queen Mary College, Cardiff University, and the University of Manchester. I come from a socioeconomically deprived area, so I understand how it feels to be in competition for a University spot against others with better luck of the draw. I also have ADHD so I know how it feels to be a neurodivergent student and require slightly different styles and modes of teaching and concentration.

I love working with people and helping them – it’s part of why I want to go into Dentistry! I’d love for a chance to tutor even more people and make sure they’re receiving the best quality education and top personal tips for getting into Uni. Since I’ve worked as a Student Ambassador at UoM, I’ve also received “inside info” on how to ace your interview, and going through so many interviews myself as both the interviewee and the interviewer has given me a lot of experience so I can share all my knowledge with you!

I’m a third year optometry student at Anglia Ruskin University, currently pursuing an Integrated Masters in Optometry. My journey in optometry has given me a solid foundation in both clinical and academic skills, allowing me to not only excel in my studies but also connect with others who are passionate about eye health and patient care. As President of the Optics Society, I’m dedicated to creating a supportive environment for my peers, organizing events like mock OSCEs, study sessions, and webinars. My focus is always on fostering a sense of community, where everyone feels encouraged to learn and grow together.

Alongside my optometry studies, I’m also a seasoned English tutor for GCSE-level students, specialising in language and literature. I believe in making learning enjoyable and accessible for all students, adapting my lessons to suit each individual’s learning style and goals. Whether it’s strengthening grammar skills, enhancing reading comprehension, or building confidence in essay writing, I work to ensure that students feel supported and motivated.
