Hi! I’m a final year Dental student at the University of Manchester 🙂 I’ve had lots of experience in tutoring students and prospective students one on one, reviewing personal statements (even if they’re for different courses or courses that are slightly related – e.g. Medicine!), and I’ve provided a lot of Q&A sessions for how I got into Uni and how I got 4/4 of my offers.

I received offers from King’s College London, Queen Mary College, Cardiff University, and the University of Manchester. I come from a socioeconomically deprived area, so I understand how it feels to be in competition for a University spot against others with better luck of the draw. I also have ADHD so I know how it feels to be a neurodivergent student and require slightly different styles and modes of teaching and concentration.

I love working with people and helping them – it’s part of why I want to go into Dentistry! I’d love for a chance to tutor even more people and make sure they’re receiving the best quality education and top personal tips for getting into Uni. Since I’ve worked as a Student Ambassador at UoM, I’ve also received “inside info” on how to ace your interview, and going through so many interviews myself as both the interviewee and the interviewer has given me a lot of experience so I can share all my knowledge with you!

I’m a Computer Science student at Heriot-Watt University with a strong passion for technology, problem-solving, and continuous learning. In my spare time, I enjoy coding and exploring new tools, programming languages, and concepts within the field. With a genuine enthusiasm for teaching, I take pride in my ability to explain complex topics in a clear, approachable way that encourages students to grasp difficult concepts with ease.

As the older brother to twin brothers with autism, I’ve developed a high level of patience, empathy, and understanding, which I bring into my tutoring approach. My experience in caring for them has made me more attuned to different learning styles and able to communicate effectively with students who may have unique needs. I hold a First-Class BSc degree in Business Information Systems from De Montfort University, and I’ve been working in both technical and leadership roles since graduating in 2018. My experience includes managing site operations and vehicle sales as a Site Manager and leading a sales team as a Senior Sales Executive. These roles have strengthened my communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills—qualities I bring into my tutoring.

Academically, I studied Biology, Psychology, and Urdu at A-Level, and I have a deep personal interest in subjects like biology and astronomy. I’ve also memorised the Qur’an in Arabic, which reflects my focus, discipline, and commitment to learning—values I aim to inspire in my students.
