I’m passionate about helping students unlock their full potential, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds. I believe that every student deserves access to quality education and the resources needed to achieve their dreams, which is why I offer my tutoring services at a significantly lower cost than the market rate—without compromising on quality. My mission is to break down barriers and ensure that all students have the chance to excel, regardless of their circumstances.

As a current Veterinary Medicine student at the University of Cambridge, I bring a wealth of experience in tutoring and exam preparation. I’ve successfully helped numerous students grow in knowledge and confidence, enabling them to perform at their best. Additionally, my insights into the university admissions process have earned me five offers for one of the most competitive courses in the country, from some of the UK’s most prestigious universities.

My approach is to empower students to articulate their unique stories, develop critical thinking skills, and cultivate a passion for learning. I’m not in it for the money—my greatest reward is seeing my students thrive, learn, and reach heights they never thought possible.

Hi, my name is Andrew and I’m a recent graduate of the University of Cambridge, where I graduated with two first class degrees in Natural Sciences, specialising in Biology, Earth Sciences and the History and Philosophy of Science.

I have experience tutoring a wide range of subjects, including Maths, Biology, Chemistry, German and Philosophy, as well as in guiding students through their applications to Cambridge and Oxford, drawing upon both my own experience applying, and my time working for the admissions department for a Cambridge College.

Outside of my academic side, I’m a keen musician (I play the French Horn in several orchestras and a brass quintet), reader (I love sci-fi, books about philosophy, and am currently reading Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro), and am very interested in politics, both in the UK and abroad.

On top of my academics, I’m a really good baker! I like to bake birthday cakes for special occasions and I recognise that studies can be very stressful so I do like to make my lessons and work balanced. This ensures that you actually enjoy learning!

I like to make my lessons engaging and with some fun activities in order to make learning enjoyable for my students, Although, homework related to the topics covered in the tutoring session will also be given.
