Hi! I’m Lara, a trilingual law graduate from the LSE, currently based in London preparing for the Solicitors’ Qualifying Exam. I grew up in Cyprus, where I attended an English-curriculum school and completed my IGCSEs, A-Levels and the LNAT – so I know exactly what these exams demand and how to approach them strategically.
Throughout school and university, I balanced a full academic workload with lots of extracurriculars, which taught me how to study smarter, not just harder. I genuinely love helping others do the same, whether that’s building solid revision habits, managing time across multiple subjects, or finding memorisation techniques that actually stick.
I speak English, German, and Turkish, have two younger siblings, and have guided many friends through applications, career decisions, and exam prep. Watching people grow in confidence is what drives me, and I’d love to help you or your child do the same!
My teaching style
My teaching style is patient, relaxed, and genuinely fun. I believe learning works best when it doesn’t feel like a chore! I adapt to each student’s pace and personality, making sessions feel more like a conversation than a lesson. I use gamified techniques and real practice to keep things engaging, and I always aim to build independence rather than just guide students through every step. My goal is for you to feel confident tackling problems on your own. I’m down to earth and easy to talk to, so no question is ever too silly!
My Proudest Achievements
I scored the highest in the country for IGCSE Global Perspectives, and achieved the top A-Level results in my school for both Turkish and Economics. At 17, I founded an intercommunal diplomacy conference in Cyprus, a project that required organisation and communication, and one I’m proud to say is still running today. Most recently, I received a training contract offer from a US law firm, which I’m thrilled to be starting soon. These experiences have shaped me into someone who sets high standards while understanding exactly what it takes to get there.
