Hi there!
I’m Rebeca, a 1st year undergraduate at UCL studying Chemistry MSci. With 3 years of tutoring experience, I’ve had the pleasure of helping students of all ages and abilities, including those with SEN. My enthusiasm for chemistry started during my GCSEs, and it has only grown since then, but my tutoring expertise spans a range of subjects, including english lit + lang, physics, biology, history and philosophy (A-Level). I have experience teaching a wide range of exam boards.I bring forth a motivated attitude about exploring concepts with diverse strategies to maximize understanding. I am skilled at adapting my teaching methods to meet individual needs, fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment. Known for my strong organisational skills, focus, and ability to simplify complex concepts, I am committed to helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals.

I am a First Class LLB Law graduate and was awarded Top Student in my Cohort, with several university essays marked at 95 percent or higher.

Alongside my academic achievements, I have worked as a Paralegal, gaining real insight into legal writing, analysis and communication. This experience strengthens the support I offer to students studying English, Sociology, Law and essay‑based subjects.

I have been tutoring for over five years and have helped many students achieve results they once thought were out of reach. One of my proudest moments was supporting a GCSE English student who moved from Grade 3 to Grade 7 in only six months. My own academic background reflects my commitment to learning, including Grade 8s in GCSE English, As in A Level English and Sociology, and consistently high First Class marks throughout university.

I care deeply about helping students grow in confidence, understand their subjects clearly and achieve the grades and opportunities they are aiming for. My goal is always to bring out the best in every learner I work with.
