I am a professionally trained teacher with a Bachelor of Business Administration specialized in Accounting and a Diploma in Basic Education. I have extensive teaching experience in both junior and senior educational settings, focusing on guiding young people not only to achieve academic excellence but also to develop into morally upright and responsible adults. My passion lies in fostering a supportive learning environment that encourages inclusivity and personal growth, particularly for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.

I’m a recent graduate from Queen Mary University of London with a degree in Politics with Business Management and have over 8 years of teaching experience from Nursery to A-level in various subjects.

I have quite an interest in International Relations/Global Politics and enjoy linking current affairs with conceptual knowledge.

I love meeting new people and enjoy working together with students to help them achieve their personal goals in a tailored approach. Education is all about the journey and enjoying learning, and I aim to make your experience as friendly and enjoyable as possible.

I don’t believe in a singular methodological approach, and I do my utmost best to understand how you like to learn so that lessons are geared at helping you achieve the best marks in whatever exams you’re taking! 🙂

Beyond my academic background in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics, I am deeply passionate about fostering engagement and curiosity in learning. My experience as President of the Debate Club and participation in societies such as PPE Football, Debate Society, and PPE Society have sharpened my ability to communicate complex ideas clearly—an essential skill for tutoring.

Additionally, my involvement in Manchester’s Kabaddi and Kho Societies, where I competed in regional and national tournaments, has given me a strong sense of discipline, teamwork, and resilience—qualities I bring into teaching. Organizing and leading initiatives, such as the Diwali Ball during my tenure as Vice President of Manchester Hindu Society, has reinforced my ability to manage and inspire groups effectively.

I am eager to bring this enthusiasm and strategic mindset to tutoring, helping students navigate their learning journey with confidence and curiosity. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss how my diverse interests and experiences can support student development.

I’m Rebeca, a 1st year undergraduate at UCL studying Chemistry MSci. With 3 years of tutoring experience, I’ve had the pleasure of helping students of all ages and abilities, including those with SEN. My enthusiasm for chemistry started during my GCSEs, and it has only grown since then, but my tutoring expertise spans a range of subjects, including english lit + lang, physics, biology, history and philosophy (A-Level). I have experience teaching a wide range of exam boards.I bring forth a motivated attitude about exploring concepts with diverse strategies to maximize understanding. I am skilled at adapting my teaching methods to meet individual needs, fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment.
