About Me
I am a professionally trained teacher with a Bachelor of Business Administration specialized in Accounting and a Diploma in Basic Education. I have extensive teaching experience in both junior and senior educational settings, focusing on guiding young people not only to achieve academic excellence but also to develop into morally upright and responsible adults. My passion lies in fostering a supportive learning environment that encourages inclusivity and personal growth, particularly for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
My teaching style
My teaching style is student-centered and empathetic, aiming to engage learners actively while providing pastoral support that addresses their emotional and social wellbeing. I employ moderate technology integration in lessons to enhance understanding and accommodate diverse learning needs. I strive to create a safe and nurturing classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued and motivated to excel academically and personally, especially those requiring additional SEND and SEMH support.
My Proudest Achievements
I am proud to have successfully taught multiple subjects including Accounting and Entrepreneurship at a senior technical institute, while also serving as a class teacher responsible for overseeing learning and providing counselling recommendations for students. Additionally, I effectively supervised student entertainment activities, demonstrating leadership and commitment to holistic student development. These roles have strengthened my ability to support students not only academically but also in their social and emotional growth.
