My name is Tejal Paliya, and I am currently pursuing an MEng in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at the University of Cambridge. Alongside my academic pursuits, I have developed a strong passion for education and have accumulated extensive experience in tutoring and mentoring students across various age groups. Over the past few years, I have provided private tutoring in STEM subjects, assisting students in enhancing their understanding and academic performance. Additionally, I have guided prospective university applicants through mock interviews and exam preparation, helping them navigate the competitive admissions process. My role as an Engineering and AI mentor on a summer programme involved supervising students aged 13–15, supporting them with their projects, and ensuring they had a positive and enriching learning experience.

I’m Emily, currently studying at economics and management. I would love to support anyone who needs help in their academic journey, helping them succeed by imparting my knowledge at techniques. I am a first-year Aero-Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Strathclyde with a proven track record of academic excellence, achieving top grades, including As in all my subjects at school and university so far. My dedication to learning, strong work ethic, and attention to detail have prepared me to effectively guide and support students in their academic pursuit My active involvement in sports during school has also equipped me with valuable skills in teamwork, discipline, and time management. No student should be disadvantaged and I’d love to make their lives easier by passing on my experiences and success with getting into the top universities (Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, KCL). Although a massive part of it is luck, hard work can get you anywhhere; it’s just about knowing where to put in the hard work to achieve the best results! Personal statements, ENGAA, and interviews can be exhausting if they aren’t handled in the right way, without appropriate guidance but as an engineer, solving problems efficiently is at the heart of what I do so I hope that can be applied to giving you the best chance possible of achieving your dreams 🙂
