27About Me
Having attended a state school (and attaining the best GCSE grades: https://www.nhsg.org.uk/latestnews/gcse-results-a-birthday-to-remember), I understand the endless hard work and effort that goes into oxbridge applications and education in general. No student should be disadvantaged and I’d love to make their lives easier by passing on my experiences and success with getting into the top universities (Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, KCL). Although a massive part of it is luck, hard work can get you anywhhere; it’s just about knowing where to put in the hard work to achieve the best results! Personal statements, ENGAA, and interviews can be exhausting if they aren’t handled in the right way, without appropriate guidance but as an engineer, solving problems efficiently is at the heart of what I do so I hope that can be applied to giving you the best chance possible of achieving your dreams 🙂
My teaching style
My sessions will be tailored for each student and their individual needs. Everyone struggles in different ways and it’s important to find the way that works best for you. Generally, the best method for attaining high marks is to focus on past exam questions and mark schemes, which I can adapt to every exam board and level of study that the student requires.
My past experience
I’ve tutored for over 100 hours with Study Mind, guiding more than 20 students through ENGAA, university interviews, A level further maths and physics.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievement has to be my grade 9 in GCSE history. Now I’m studying engineering, it’s such an irrelevant qualification but it took so much time and effort to focus on my worst subject, nothing can top seeing that grade on my results sheet.
