Hi!
I’m Elizabeth and I’m a finalist at Oxford University studying PPE. I’m taking finals in the papers Micro, Macro, Quant Economics, Industrial Organisation, Labour Economics, Ethics, Practical Ethics and Plato. I was born in the US and grew up in Amsterdam, so I applied to Oxford as an international student.
I’d love to help other students through the application process to make it as successful and stress-free as possible.
In high school, I studied further maths, economics, philosophy, history and more, and I graduated as Valedictorian with a Summa Cum Laude diploma. I was a tutor throughout high school and I’m excited to continue teaching this year. I love the challenge of taking learning material and presenting it in the most digestible way possible and finding intuitive explanations for complex concepts. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing something that your student has been struggling with finally ‘click’.
Outside of my degree, I’m always up for a long walk that ends with a matcha latte. When I have time, you’ll find me in the kitchen baking cookies or booking flights to beautiful hiking destinations around the world.
I’m looking forward to meeting you!
Hey! I’m Morgan, currently a 1st year Medical student at the University of Nottingham, soon to go into my 2nd year. As an ex- IB student, I have a broad knowledge base which spans both the natural and social sciences, with particular interest in Global Politics, which has had me nominated for national and international competitions. When it comes to medical entrance tutoring, my strengths lie in interviews and personal statements, with the ability to help guide you through the UCAT, too. My personal ambition in medicine is currently in the field of orthopaedics.
Outside of academics, I enjoy staying active and social, playing sports such as football, volleyball and basketball, and attending social events when I can. I’ve carried these hobbies into my university life, representing the university at a competitive level in volleyball.
I’d be more than happy to help guide you through a range of subjects and all things medical entrance-related, too. Hope to see you soon!
