Hi, I’m Imaan. I’m a fifth year medical student at the University of Plymouth, I know the interview process inside out and I know that it takes A LOT of determination. I have independently achieved all my medical school offers and thats why I know that although it seems impossible, there’s always a way to achieve your dreams and I’m here to help you find it! I have lots of experience coaching students and am easy to talk to. I have had to deal with the daunting experience of applying to medical school, independently, including; taking the UCAT exam twice! This has taught me everything there is to know about the test and I have developed many tips and tricks. I am also a foundation student and this pathway requires a lot of thought and planning, I’d be happy to answer any questions regarding any of the unconventional pathways to medicine. Hi, I’m Jemma! I have recently graduated as a Dentist from Newcastle Dental School. I have great interest in this career as I thrive in an interpersonal role due to my confident and outgoing nature. Throughout my studies, I have gained a breadth of clinical experience and performed a wide variety of procedures. I feel this, alongside the variety of patients I have interacted with gives me a great understanding of Dentistry, the techniques behind it, and the skills required. I have a keen interest in the sciences, having previously studied Biology and Chemistry at A level. This was combined with History, which allowed me to work on my written language and critical thinking.

Aside from my education, I am an outgoing and sociable person who enjoys surrounding myself with friends, family and my puppy. As a greatly driven person, I am always pursuing new challenges to get the best out of myself. Currently, this takes the form of running, in training for a half marathon. The gym also plays a big role in my work life balance, and keeps me motivated and accountable.

I have a hard-working attitude, which has really developed during my time in University due to having to adapt to independent learning. I sat my UCAT, BMAT and interviews in 2020 and secured a place the University of Leeds after achieving A Level grades of A*A*A. I have a background in English writing so my areas of expertise lie in Personal Statement writing, as well as UCAT, BMAT and interview.

My name is Silas and I am a newly qualified Resident Doctor following the completion of my Medical Degree at the University of Sheffield. I graduated with honours and received the Mark Gregory Baker as the top student in my year.

Prior to studying Medicine, I gained a First Class Degree in Political Science and International Relations at the University of Birmingham; my degree allowed me to apply to Undergraduate Medicine as a graduate. I can offer a unique perspective for students looking for alternate routes into Medicine and on the importance placed on varied interests by Medical Schools across the country.

As a Sheffield Medical student, I am the President of the Sheffield Emergency Medicine Society and am a member of medical societies such as Sheffield Friends of MSF and Wilderness Medicine.
