Hi 👋 I’m Kara, a History and Politics graduate from Brasenose college, Oxford! I am super passionate about all things History and Politics as well as International Relations, English literature and Economics. I am available to help students with a wide range of challenges, from Economics A-level to achieving full marks in an EPQ. Outside of studying, I enjoy travelling, reading fiction and all types of exercise, especially the gym and I am a firm believer in having a great work life balance. After studying independently for many months during the pandemic and missing GCSEs, I am in a unique position to understand the mental stress placed on high achieving students who have missed large parts of their education; as your tutor I will do everything I can to support you academically and emotionally. Hi there, my name is Ronan Goss and I am a recent 1st class land economy graduate at the university of Cambridge. Since I was 16 I have tutored various students in a range of subjects and levels, including mathematics, business and economics. Since then I have worked with a range of students for both GCSE and A-level, and I can work with exam boards such as Edexcel, AQA, IB, and WJEC. More recently I have tutored 8 students who have applied to Land Economy at Cambridge, assisting in personal statement writing, admission tests, and interview preparation. Some of these students have started or will be starting at Cambridge, with many others securing places at the UK’s most prestigious universities.

In my spare time I love to travel, and I am currently living in and around Portugal tutoring remotely. After travelling I have an offer to join a leading consulting firm based in the UK.

Hi, my name is Katie and I am a medical student at the University of Liverpool. I am currently intercalating between years 3 and 4 doing an MRes in Clinical Sciences. I have particular interests in Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics, and the research I am doing during my MRes is focusing on the importance of exercise in the elderly and post operative exercise.

A bit about me – In my free time I love to be active! I dance, play hockey, go to the gym, go for hikes (when I am near mountains) and am currently training for a half marathon. I have been President of The Medical Students’ Performing Arts Society, and am currently trying to reinstate the Sport and Exercise Medicine Society here at the University. I also love to cook and bake, especially lemon drizzle!

Current school students – At A Level, I acheived Grade A in Maths, Chemistry and Biology and a Distinction* in Level 3 Performing Arts. At GSCE I achieved 9s in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, History and English Language, 8s in Physics, Drama, English Literature and Spanish, and Distinction*s in (Level 2) Sport and Creative Digital Media.
I am confident in tutoring at GCSE Level and below in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Sport/PE and medical related subjects (Biomedicine, biochemistry etc). If your subject is not listed here but you are interested in my tutoring, please just drop me a message and we can work something out 🙂

Medicine Applicants – For the future medical students here, I would love to help you get into this fantastic degree. After not doing too well in my UCAT and being rejected by 2 universities as a result, I really struggled with my confidence. However, both Universities I attended for interview gave me offers! I am available for interview preparation and advice on your application to Medicine (both interviews I attended were MMIs, however, I can help to prepare for other styles too).

Current Medical Students – For current medical/ medical sciences students, I am currently between Years 3 and 4 of my MBChB having passed my Sequence 1 of all 3 years for both the written and clinical examinations (The University of Liverpool have a sequence system for exams. If you do well enough in the 1st Sequence, you are exempt from having to sit a 2nd set of examinations). I am available for tutoring in all Medical Subjects I have currently covered. My name is Dara and I’m a 4th Year Medical Student at the University of Southampton. Education is something I love and commit a lot of time and effort towards, but I also love help making change. I am enthusiastic about tutoring and helping other students thrive and reach their academic goals, whatever that may be! Hi, my name is Piraveen and I’m currently studying at Queen Mary’s after graduating from St George’s University of London.
