Hi. My name is Reza I am currently a third-year medical student at the University of Glasgow. I remember how daunting and struggling it was the first time I was beginning to apply for medical school. From A-levels, Interviews, UCAT and personal statements there were a lot of things I had no idea about. This sense of feeling ‘lost’ is the primary reason I took on this role at medic mind. I genuinely want to teach and more importantly, fix aspiring students’ mistakes. I don’t want them to make the same ones I made and learned from during my time applying to university. Through my experiences, I want to guide young people to help get into medical school. I also was a former medic mind tutee myself so I am familiar with the system and how to approach students. In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball and cycling. Recently though, I have picked up the hobby of cooking.

Hello there, my name is Abena and I live in East London. I’m a really friendly, enthusiastic tutor, who enjoys helping students achieve their academic goals. Education has always been a huge priority in my life and I’ve had teachers that have helped me with my motivation and performance. They not only helped me with my subjects but also my motivation, something I hope to pass on to my future students as well.

Apart from tutoring, I enjoy cheerleading for my university and also part of the committee as the IT officer, helping with setting up the websites and posting on social media. I can therefore give you tips and tricks that will propel your exam performance into truly exceptional scores and can give personalised feedback tailored to your strengths and weaknesses. I can give you MMI style interviews much more accurately than most other medical students and tutors and have a unique insight into the mindset of examiners. Hi, I’m LucyAnne! I’m 23 years old and I live in London. I work as an actor and freelance singer, and also part-time as a teaching assistant and a tutor.

I studied History, English, Music and Biology at A Level (3 A*s, 1A) and, while at school, also gained two diplomas in French Horn (LRSM and DipABRSM) alongside Grade 8 Singing (ABRSM) and Verse & Prose (LAMDA), Grade 7 Piano (ABRSM) and Acting (LAMDA) and Grade 5 Music Theory (ABRSM). I then undertook a BA in History and English at Oxford, during which time I was awarded two scholarships for academic achievement.
