Hi there!
My name is Ruairi (think roar-ree). I have recently graduated from the University of Cambridge with, among other things, a first-class with distinction in my dissertation on public policy. Throughout my time at Cambridge, I have taken papers spanning development, economics, law, and policy. I am combining the knowledge and skills I gained during my undergraduate degree to become a corporate lawyer at a global, Top 20 AM Law firm.
In the meantime, I would like to tutor you! I have thoroughly enjoyed tutoring in the past and believe I can help you excel in a wide range of subjects. I would also be more than happy to help with applications and interviews, be that to universities or to law firms. More generally, I can give you advice on navigating college/sixth form, university, and the corporate world, based on my past successes (and failures!).
Outside of academia and work, I like to watch Arsenal and international rugby. I am also hoping to get back into gym and kickboxing in the new academic year, as well as jewellery-making.
I hope to hear from you soon – please do reach out if you are interested!
Hi, I am a medical student at the University of Southampton. I have a lot of experience with medical interviews (panel and MMI), and received offers from 3 medical schools (University of Southampton, University of Leicester and Aston University). I am a member of the university badminton society and the Teddy Bear Hospital society whose aim is to educate children and work to alleviate their fears of going to the doctors.
I can be a great help with writing a personal statement (giving lots of feedback and going over exactly what should be mentioned and the structure and layout.)
I can help with how to prepare for a medical school interview as I have done both in-person and online interviews. I have also done a panel interview and an MMI interview.
Additionally, I can help with preparing for the UCAT exam as I received a score in the top 30%.
I can also help with 11+. I did the 11+ myself when i was younger and whilst working at Explore Learning i was trained how to teach the 11+ course.

I’m Melody, a second year medical student at the University of Leicester! I am an experienced tutor that has been tutoring for 4 years now. I tutor a range of subjects from KS1 all the way to A-levels. I achieved A*ABB at A-levels and grades 9-7 in all of my GCSEs, including 6 grade 9s.
I have a deep passion for education and a strong desire to make a positive impact on students’ academic journeys. This passion for teaching stems from my belief that quality education can open doors to many new opportunities.
With my 4 year experience of tutoring students ranging in age from 10-16 years old as well as my knowledge of the subjects, I am well equipped with the knowledge and skills to help students excel in their academics and exams. My experience has allowed me to develop personalised learning experiences towards each student to cater to their individual learning styles and needs, and so allowing me to teach with patience and empathy, as I know that we all learn in different ways.
Being a second year medical student, I understand how to break down key topics into more bite sized and manageable learning chunks, as well as being able to manage my time well and cope well under pressure. These skills will allow me to formulate personalised study plans for each student I tutor, so not only will they be receiving teaching from me, but I will show them how to implement these skills into their own study routines as well, going as far as even helping build study plans together.
I really do care about making a difference, and will go above and beyond to make sure that students receive the optimum teaching from me!

Hi there, I’m Amelia. I’m really excited at the prospect of meeting you and working with you towards your learning goals. I’m a Cambridge graduate and was lucky enough to study Classics there for three wonderful years. I’m now continuing my career in Classics by teaching full time at Whitgift School in South London. I teach Latin, Classical Greek and Classical Civilisation to A Level, and am especially interested in inspiring my KS3 classes. Outside the classroom, I produce theatrical productions and running Cryptic crossword club. I also tutor annually at the UCL Classics summer school- mainly coaching Classical Greek from Beginner to Advanced level. I am fascinated by languages of all kinds and am compelled by the art of decoding. I’m currently learning Italian, brushing up on my French and always puzzling away at a crossword or two.
I am a Latin teacher with QTS and a passion for the Ancient World. I have been running classes with young people between the ages of 5-13 at the Museum of Archaeology for two years and have been successful in running engaging sessions that actively involve the students. I carefully plan my lessons and listen to my student’s individual concerns to address the areas where help is most needed and tailor lessons to their needs. I have previously tutored privately for students doing A-level English Literature, and all of my students went on to achieve a B or above.
I was awarded a commendation in the national TALK TALK scheme for confident communication, and have excellent spoken and written communication skills needed to clearly present information. Through my studies of Latin and Greek, I would also bring advanced knowledge of how languages work and the best way to learn them, which I could use to help students get to grips with learning a language at a high level and developing their study skills more generally.
