I am an Oxford postgraduate in History holding BA and MSt degrees from that university and over 10 years of tutoring experience. With a long proven track record of success, I have taught students in English, History, Geography, Classics, Politics, and all other Humanities subjects, as well as essay-writing, exam-taking, critical thinking, interview skills, and literacy at school, college, and university levels.
I tailor every lesson to each student’s unique needs, working to improve not only subject knowledge, but also study skills, enthusiasm, and confidence. Whether you are preparing for GCSEs, A-Levels, admissions interviews, or final exams, I will help you hone your abilities and ensure that you perform at your very best. I also have years of experience teaching SEND (special educational needs and disabilities) and EFL (English as a foreign language) pupils from all over the world. No matter your background, ability levels, or learning needs, I will make certain that you receive the top-quality education you deserve.

My teaching style
My teaching style is dynamic and engaged, focusing on the distinctive strengths and needs of each student. I firmly believe that every learner is capable of broadening his or her intellectual boundaries, pushing forward through practice and dedication to understand even challenging subjects on a deeper level. I always adjust the pacing and planning of lessons for my individual pupils, while making sure to reach the goals set by the relevant curriculum and exam standards. I also employ a wide range of multimedia tools, from artwork and videos to music and games, to engage my students and spark their interest in whatever subject they are learning.
My past experience
I have been teaching and tutoring for over a decade, working with dozens of GCSE, A-Level, IB, and university students at all levels of abilities and interests.
My Proudest Achievements
I am always proudest of my students! They respond beautifully to my teaching, and are eager to rise to the challenge of learning new skills and expanding their intellectual horizons. Whether mastering their exams, gaining admission to great universities, or discovering new interests and career prospects, they always make me proud to be a teacher.
