9About Me
Durham University Philosophy Graduate with an offer to do Medicine.I can help two types of people. Those who are struggling in their humanities degree and those who want to study Medicine with a humanities background.
I understand how frustrating it can be to be behind your academic goals and feel like you are failing, especially when you have goals of Masters/Grad studies/Medicine/Law etc. That was me. My second year of university I was on a low 2.1 and thought the prospect of Graduate Medicine was fading away after a dismal application attempt. I have been through this and can help turn things around. I take time to carefully plan a route to a higher grade at undergraduate level and specialise in working with humanities students who want to make the jump to Medicine. The whole process is daunting and requires a bit of strategising to get you to an interview and ultimately a place.
My teaching style
My teaching style is personalised, effective and targeted to an outcome set by the student. Students know their own strengths and weaknesses and where they want to go. I take all this into consideration and develop strategies to make their goals happen.
My past experience
I taught undergraduate Philosophy students and have tutored and advised students wanting to do graduate medicine.
My Proudest Achievements
Gaining an offer to study Medicine two years after a dismal application.
