Hi, I’m Reuben. I’ve just completed my masters in Engineering Science at Oxford University, achieving a double first class. I have 4 years of online tutoring experience and I’m excited to help students achieve their potential.
I’m really enjoying this broad course as it gives me exposure to all forms of engineering before I decide which to specialise in. As the course is so broad, my tutoring expertise remains broad as well as I have kept in practice with skills I learnt across all my A-Levels (Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry).

I am well able to advise on the process of applying to Oxford or Imperial, having received offers from both. I’m also able to provide unique insight into studying engineering, especially in comparing the branches of engineering to each other as I have experience in all of them.

Aside from academics, I enjoy athletics, representing my university team over 400 meters and hurdles. I also enjoy playing poker, particularly at the Oxford University poker society.

Hello ! I am a multinational (Spanish and British) Cambridge University first class graduate (2025), who comes equipped with a highly interdisciplinary background and passion for learning new skills. My interests within architecture are currently enormously varied because the subject itself is so vast! , but primarily lie in museum design and curation, sustainability and bamboo construction, and theoretical discourse on phenomenology and space.

Having been panel interviewed and successful for a number of committee roles and achievements at different scales (Head Girl, university applications… as well as current internship interviews) I am well versed in interview technique and experience. I am able to provide general Oxbridge interview/ mock interviews for humanities subjects as there is a substantial overlap with what I study in my course (particularly humanities interviews). I specialise in architecture, and have made multiple professional portfolios (and continuously make one every term for my degree), with an eye for detail, and so as well as mock interviews and general advice, I will happily advise in this key area.

I did five A levels, six AS levels, so have been through pretty much most academic scenarios and can provide tips for efficient revision, and efficient time management, in the similar way that worked for me.

My highly interdisciplinary architecture degree also means I am trained in professional presentation skills (persuasive presenting of work at least four times every week to a crowd), graphic skills in rendering, photography and videography, and confidence in all Adobe software. Analytical, academic essays are also a substantial part of the course and I further hone my writing skills writing university articles for the Cambridge Language Collective, Climate Journals and producing graphics for an Arts Magazine.

I am a dedicated and motivated architecture undergraduate at the University of Cambridge, driven by a passion for sustainable design and equipped with a solid foundation in both the creative and technical aspects of the field. My academic journey has honed my ability to blend innovative concepts with practical solutions, aiming to create structures that are both aesthetically pleasing and environmentally responsible.

Beyond the lecture theatre, I have gained valuable hands-on experience through community projects and internships at architecture firms across Europe. These opportunities have allowed me to develop a diverse skill set, including model making, conducting site visits, and engaging in preliminary design work. My involvement in these projects has also deepened my understanding of real-world challenges and the importance of community-oriented design.

I am eager to continue expanding my knowledge and contributing to projects that prioritize sustainability and innovation, making a positive impact on the built environment.

Dr Naila is a dedicated and results-driven researcher with a PhD (thesis submitted) in Computer Science from the University of Glasgow and over seven years of experience in research, teaching, and academic mentoring. Her core expertise lies in the domain of cybersecurity, with particular emphasis on data privacy, threat modeling, expert systems, logical reasoning, and artificial intelligence. She has successfully led and contributed to innovative projects aimed at advancing cutting-edge technologies to protect sensitive data in autonomous and complex systems. Known for her exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, Naila thrives in collaborative environments and excels in fostering teamwork and communication. Her research interests extend to data protection regulations, complex systems modeling, and human-computer interaction, with a keen focus on bridging theoretical concepts with real-world applications to address pressing challenges in technology and security.
