Quantitative Methods Tutors : 1-1 Quantitative Methods Preparation

During my time in school and at university, I always believed in putting in my best and full efforts into all my subjects, and my modules, even the ones that didn’t interest me much! (In school, I had a GPA of 3.9, 7A*s in IGCSE OLevels, and I faired really well even in subjects like ICT, which were not my favorite! In uni of course, I loved studying economics and mathematics which led to my First Class Honors. And in terms of post grad, I’m pursuing a finance professional qualification, CFA, and the depth and difficulty of this has pushed me into a realm of discovering and ultimately crossing all my limitations in achieving success- I’m currently studying for the second level, having successfully completed the first).

I truly believe the best results are achieved when we push ourselves out of our comfort zones and challenge ourselves to be a better version of who we are. And I am passionate about guiding young souls into the best possible path for their education, learning and exploring their skills and helping them build new ones and hopefully allowing them to tap into the best version of themselves. My students always teach me new things as much as I teach them, I believe that their unwavering flames and zest for life needs to be carefully nurtured by their teachers and I hope to be someone who can be that person!

Hello! I’m Sophie, a recent graduate from the University of Cambridge with a First Class (Honours) degree in Psychological and Behavioural Sciences. During my time at Cambridge I studied a broad range of topics across the Psychology, Biology, and Archeology departments. I also completed a funded research internship in a neuroscience lab in the Experimental Psychology Department at the University of Oxford, and I’m about to begin my Master’s degree at UCL.

Before university I achieved 4 A* at A-Level (in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Politics), and 11 A* at GCSE.

I am very passionate about science, and I love helping students explore these subjects both across and beyond their GCSE and A-Level curricula. I also have experience helping students through the university application process, including both personal statements and Oxbridge interviews. I know just how daunting this process can feel, so I’m really looking forward to supporting students throughout their application in order to give them the best possible chances of getting an offer from their dream university!

Hi I am Chinazo and I am a 5th year medical student at the University of Cambridge. As a medical student at The University of Cambridge I am able to provide highly tailored support to applicants applying for Oxbridge. As a Cambridge medical student I have extensive knowledge of the course – from which many scientific interview questions are formulated on – and the right things to say to shine in the interview. I have experience working with students applying to a range of medical schools and therefore, I can help you prepare for your medicine interviews regardless of where you are applying.

I do not know which field I am going to specialise in yet but I am drawn to Sports Medicine and Psychiatry. Outside of medicine I enjoy partaking in sports in my free time, particularly rowing and tennis.
