Hi everyone! My name is Shruthi and I am a 5th year medical student at University College London. Over the last couple of years I have been tutoring various aspects of the medical application process including the admission tests, interview preparation and personal statement help. Having successfully achieved in the top deciles in both the UCAT and BMAT I am confident that I will be able to guide my tutees to reach their full potential and have done so before. Medicine is a lifelong learning process and I believe that while teaching my students I will also continue to fine-tune and refine my teaching – there is no one size fits all approach to tutoring and my teaching is personalised to the student I am tutoring. I hope you enjoy going through my profile and I look forward to work with you soon!
I am a final year medical student at Flinders University who is about to graduate soon. In addition, to studying medicine at Flinders I have also participated in extracurriculars such as university sports and medrevue, as stage manager. Medrevue which is a musical that is organized by medical students every year.
I moved to Australia 10 years ago and did not have much experience with their tertiary education system. However, my experiences with volunteering and private tutoring helped me build a network which later helped me gain useful advice when trying to seek admission into an undergraduate university course. I believe I would be of use to anyone who needs some mentoring while trying to navigate the tertiary education system in Australia.
The networks I was able to establish during the course of my undergraduate degree helped me a lot when trying to gain admission into medicine in Australia. I studied Bachelors of Biomedicine at University of Melbourne graduating with a First class Honors Average and a GPA of 6.8out of a maximum of 7. I was a subjective representative as well. Following my undergraduate degree a spent an year of honors research with the aged care group at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. As a result of my research I was able to publish articles in reputable journals.
I am currently studying medicine at Flinders where some members of the faculty have let me know that I have been scoring in the top 10 % of students. I am a anatomy/dissection tutor for junior medical students as well
I am a fouth year medical student at the University of Leeds. I received A*A*A* at A Levels in Biology physics and maths. I also achieved an A in my EPQ on the immune system in space which combined my passion for medicine and astrology. I completed the UCAT (2730 SJT band 2) and BMAT entrance exams. I then received 2 offers to study medicine following both MMI interviews.
At GCSE, I achieved grade 9s in Maths, English Language/Literature, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Spanish.
Since I dedicate a lot of time to my course and studying, in my free time I like to get creative and paint or socialise with friends. I have always been keen to help other people and enjoy devoting my free time to volunteering in my local community. It is an incredibly rewarding experience to be part of the process of someone’s success and I enjoy sharing my knowledge and skills with other people if it helps them.

I’m Zakir, a 3rd-year Medical Student at Cardiff University and an experienced A-level Maths and MMI interview tutor.
Over the past three years, I’ve worked with students aiming for top grades and competitive university offers, helping them turn uncertainty into confidence and potential into results. I know exactly what it’s like to feel the pressure of exams and interviews, because I’ve been through it myself — sitting my A-levels in 2023 and navigating the demanding medicine application process.
That experience allows me to relate to students on a genuine level, giving advice that’s practical, relevant, and rooted in real exam experience. My tutoring focuses on both subject mastery and mindset, because achieving top results isn’t just about knowing the content — it’s about staying calm, organised, and strategic. Whether you’re aiming for an A* in Maths or preparing for a challenging MMI, my goal is to make you feel supported, capable, and ready to perform at your best
Hi! I’m Mieszko.
I was successful in an application to study Computer Science at Oxford, while helping to lead a twice-a-week 2 hour long mentoring sessions, tutoring 3 other students with their admissions tests. One of these got an interview at Oxford, another got into Oxford, and a third was successful in applying to Cambridge.
Since then, I’ve completed 2 years in Oxford (after an early transfer to a joint honours Maths and Computer Science course). In my most recent exams, I achieved the equivalent of a first class – “the equivalent of” because the actual results combine both this year, and the next one.
Outside college, I do a decent amount of sports, including hiking, squash and judo, though recently I’ve been quite into pool. I play piano, watch a fair amount of TV and read a fair amount of books – recently both have been “This Is Going To Hurt – Diaries of a Junior Doctor”.
My name is Nadia and I am a medical student currently studying at Newcastle University. I know that the interview cycle is tough for a lot of people, but I am here to help, having extensive experience with tutoring interviews, both for multiple mini-interviews (MMI) and panels.
I tell all my students one thing: there are a plethora of questions these interviewers can ask you, and I cannot possibly teach you all of them. I am not teaching you answers to these interview questions, I am teaching you how to approach them. So regardless of what weird interview questions you get, you will be able to answer them with confidence. My students have had great success in getting into their university of choice, and have been satisfied with my teaching method, and I manage to create great rapport with the students.
I am also experienced in teaching other subjects, such as mathematics, biology, chemistry, UCAT, BMAT, and the extended project qualification (EPQ).

Hi, I’m Nathan. I am an Oxford Undergraduate offering tuition in mathematics at a variety of levels. I can also offer support with the MAT. I’m a student but have long and happy experience in informal tutoring and have been a great help for many since primary school. More recently, I have amassed over 30k reputation and reached 150k people as the user FShrike on the Mathematics Stack Exchange, volunteering my ‘tutoring’ services by answering over 900 questions almost exclusively at undergraduate level.
Although I have not finished my undergraduate in mathematics, I am comfortably attending fourth year lectures and, depending on the topic, may have a lot of experience in a particular area of undergraduate or graduate mathematics. If you would like to dip your toes into some university mathematics or more formally cover some areas then I may be able to help a great deal; this will depend on the topic and would have to be discussed.
I am keen to explore the deeper mathematics behinds things studied in school and enjoy tangential discussions that go beyond the syllabus. I care far more about the reasons why things are true than I do about the facts themselves: students are mostly just taught to accept facts at the school level, but I am always willing to go further and explore why these ‘facts’ are actually facts (or, perhaps, to explore why these ‘facts’ are not always true and the reality is far more subtle than what is presented in school – this is a common occurrence). Those I’ve helped would say my main strengths are my warm and engaging manner, and that I am, where possible, happy to explain things in a variety of equivalent ways at a variety of different levels of detail.
My name is Emily and I am currently studying towards an MEng in Materials Science at The Queen’s College, Oxford. Prior to University, I attended a state grammar school where I was the sole student to get into Oxford. I have got lots of experience in mentoring students for Oxbridge interviews, and have helped many with proof reading and tailoring their personal statements, too, as this can be the outstanding factor when universities choose who to offer a place to! I am highly charismatic and enthusiastic about my studies, and hope this is reflected both in my teaching and also in the results I can obtain in my students, as I have found many times students struggle to understand concepts as they either lack motivation or it hasn’t been taught to them in such a way that they can easily grasp and understand. I firmly believe everyone learn even the most challenging of topics, it just needs to be viewed from a different perspective, as everyone thinks differently!
I graduated reading Physics at the University of Oxford.
I was the first from my Sixth Form to attend Oxford.
I have done A Levels: Physics (A*), Maths (A*), Further Maths (A), and Spanish (A*).
I enjoy tutoring students with their A levels and admissions tests to help them achieve their dream universities.
I tailor my tutoring style must be catered to each individual student. I build a rapport with my students, understanding their strengths and weaknesses and how they learn best. I firmly believe that the best teaching can be done from a place of having struggled to understand concepts, and finding a way to overcome this. Throughout school and university many lessons took a long time to click for me, and I had to find what worked for me. Nothing brings me more joy than finding what helps my students to finally understand something.
Past students I have tutored have gone on to achieve offers from universities such as Oxford, ICL, and Durham.
