Hi! My names Reah and I am a 2nd year medical student at queens university Belfast. I’m originally from London and went to medical school straight after sixth form. I have been through the medical school application process and understand it can be tough at times. I’m happy to help with any queries or worries you may have, whether that’s academically in regards to A-level biology and chemistry, medical interviews or personal statements, or whether you just need advice about the whole thing as I understand it can be stressful. I achieved an A* in biology and an A in chemistry and received 2 interviews when applying for medical school. I enjoy teaching and meeting and talking to current or prospective medical students and would describe myself as quite friendly and understanding. I look forward to meeting you and getting to work with you!
Hi! I’m Lucy, a first year dental student at the University of Liverpool. To align with my interests in biological sciences, I chose to study ALevels in Biology and Chemistry. I found quite a few concepts in Chemistry initially challenging, meaning I had to develop new methods to break down topics in a way that I understood. My third choice was Geography, a subject that has helped me understand the complex relationships of people, places and the environment. After being stuck in Budapest Airport on the morning of results day (and getting back just in time!), I opened my envelope to A*A*A, so this is your sign you can do it too!
Applying to dental school is tough, but I think it really helps to know someone that’s been through the process recently, and so can give up-to-date advice. Completing interview preparation courses during my own application, and now becoming a dental student I have a strong understanding of what dental schools seek.
I focus on understanding the challenges that my students face when it comes to learning. I use strong communication skills to teach knowledge, technique and develop confidence. I appreciate we don’t always get it right first time, I bring compassion and support to encourage progression. Let me help you through the hurdles I know getting to university brings!

Hi, I’m Imaan. I’m a third year medical student at the University of Plymouth, I know the interview process inside out and I know that it takes A LOT of determination. I have independently achieved all my medical school offers and thats why I know that although it seems impossible, there’s always a way to achieve your dreams and I’m here to help you find it! I have lots of experience coaching students and am easy to talk to. I have had to deal with the daunting experience of applying to medical school, independently, including; taking the UCAT exam twice! This has taught me everything there is to know about the test and I have developed many tips and tricks. I am also a foundation student and this pathway requires a lot of thought and planning, I’d be happy to answer any questions regarding any of the unconventional pathways to medicine. My motto is always being there to help, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask them!
I am an optometry student who has a passion for creating effective and innovative ways to study and successfully pass/ excel in any academic test. I have been tutored myself since the age of 13 and understand how every student is different, the biggest challenge a tutor can face is finding the best teaching style which work for each student. For myself i understand and learn new information by drawing diagrams and annotating pictures. I drew hundreds of mechanisms for my organic chemistry A level!
I understand some students will learn by reading and writing but i will make sure my lessons are engaging and holds my students attention. As a student who asks thousands of questions, i will encourage my students to ask away! I have also sat on interview panels in past jobs i have worked at, i have lots of interview experience. I currently work as an optical assistant at 2 independent opticians local to myself.
If you have any questions about my experience, teaching style or anything at all, please do not hesitate to contact me.
