Hi there! My name is Isabella and I am a masters student studying marine biology at the University of St. Andrews. Having always had an affinity for the ocean, I began working towards my goal of being a marine biologist from an early age. I now specialise in the study of deep-sea corals and their possible future application in pharmaceutical drugs. Having worked in an academic environment as a research assistant I know that my particular field is one that is always evolving, with new research being published every day, keeping the subject fresh and exciting
During my three years of tutoring and classroom teaching I have found that the enthusiasm I bring to learning leads to curiosity, which in turn leads to positive habits of pursing knowledge and challenges the mindset that studying is a chore. My goals include creating an environment in which the tutee is able to communicate their problem areas with ease and also encouraging self-learning by giving students opportunities to work through problems themselves once familiar with the subject matter.
Hey everyone!
I’m Sadie, a Zoology graduate turned Maths, Science and ESL teacher who has helped hundreds of students get the grades they need to follow their dreams at university. I discovered my passion for teaching by accident; an aspiring academic and researcher, I was part way through a Biology degree when I started giving fitness classes at the university gym to bring in some money. Turns out teaching is what I’m best at, and 5 years later I haven’t looked back.
My speciality are students who don’t necessarily feel at home in a traditional classroom setting. With me, we’ll look at things your way, at your rhythm, and as many times as necessary until you feel confident to tackle it on your own.
I am bilingual and after graduating I lived in Spain for 5 years working as a classroom teacher, tutoring and eating paella. When I’m not teaching you’ll find me outside playing sports or exploring, and I haven’t forgotten what it’s like to be a student myself as I am currently learning (very slowly) the piano. Whether you need to catch up, get ahead or excel, I can’t wait to hear from you!
Hi, my name is Anindita (or Ani) and I recently graduated from Cambridge, where I studied Natural Sciences.
I studied a really broad range of subjects in my first year at Cambridge – Maths, Physics, Cell Biology, and Evolution & Behaviour. Though I applied to Cambridge as a physical natural scientist, I actually ended up specialising in Zoology in my final year, and am now about to start a MSc in Ecology and Data Science from UCL. I aspire to become a conservation scientist!
I really loved my time at university, and was active in several different societies, especially my college’s boat club. I am happy to help with personal statements for Oxbridge, as well as with NSAA and interview prep for Cambridge.
I went to school in India, and therefore did an A-level equivalent syllabus. However, I am also happy to tutor science at the GCSE level, and A-level Biology, Physics, and Maths 🙂

I am a double postgraduate degree holder who has experience in teaching more than 4 decades. I had a rich experience in teaching advanced level biology, GCSE ,HSC, and CBSE students. I can proudly say that the students who studied with me got higher grades in their subject. I always have a passion for helping students who have learning disabilities and those who are gifted. This has been recognised by department of education, government of Brunei darusalam where I was teaching Advanced level biology, for more than a decade. Biology is a broad field of study with many topics. As I am a good content type writer, I prepared the key points for each topic to help the students to understand complicated concepts. I just came across studymind website while I was looking for past papers to teach my grandson. The name study mind impress everyone as the term is related to cognitive psychology that deals with problem solving, perception and attention. It greatly help tutors with topic wise questions and marking schemes. It’s very helpful for both tutors and students
