I’m Simran and I’m a first year medical student at the University of Liverpool. I achieved 3/4 medical school offers at Bart’s, Liverpool and Leicester. I hope to help others find the confidence in themselves going forward and support them in achieving their respective goals. No goal is too ambitious! I hope to support you in pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone and adopting a growth mindset. Only when we push ourselves a little can we truly develop as a person and flourish both personally, socially and academically. It’s true that we will always be faced with failure in one form or another but by learning resilience, perseverance and working effectively rather than harder, you can achieve your goals. Hello ! I am a multinational (Spanish and British) second year architecture student, currently at Cambridge University, who comes equipped with a highly interdisciplinary background and passion for learning new skills. My interests within architecture are currently enormously varied because the subject itself is so vast! , but primarily lie in museum design and curation, sustainability and bamboo construction, and theoretical discourse on phenomenology and space.

Having been panel interviewed and successful for a number of committee roles and achievements at different scales (Head Girl, university applications… as well as current internship interviews) I am well versed in interview technique and experience. I am able to provide general Oxbridge interview/ mock interviews for humanities subjects as there is a substantial overlap with what I study in my course (particularly geography, history, HSPS, archeology). I specialise in architecture, and have made multiple professional portfolios (and continuously make one every term for my degree), with an eye for detail, and so as well as mock interviews and general advice, I will happily advise in this key area.

I did five A levels, six AS levels, so have been through pretty much most academic scenarios and can provide tips for efficient revision, and efficient time management, in the similar way that worked for me.

My highly interdisciplinary architecture degree also means I am trained in professional presentation skills (persuasive presenting of work at least four times every week to a crowd), graphic skills in rendering, photography and videography, and confidence in all Adobe software. Analytical, academic essays are also a substantial part of the course and I further hone my writing skills writing university articles for the Cambridge Language Collective, Climate Journals and producing graphics for an Arts Magazine.

Hi! My name is Joseph and I am going into my third year studying biological Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge. I will specialise in Pathology, but have taken physiology, neurobiology and chemistry at degree level too. I understand how exhausting the Oxbridge application process can be, and how challenging it is to balance this with preparation for exams too. Hi! My name is Emily, I’m 19 and a student at the University of East Anglia and entering my second year studying BSc Environmental Sciences – hoping to pursue a career as an Environmental Consultant and as an advisor to the government on Net Zero ambitions. I have a passion for Geography and Science (Biology and Chemistry) achieving A*AA at A-level as well as an A* in my EPQ which investigated how impactful recycling is in my local area of London on the climate crisis. This is also reflected in my GCSE grades (7-9/A-A**) achieving 9s in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography and Food Preparation and Nutrition. I am a determined individual who had to work hard for my academic success, often putting in 12 hour days at sixth form, but paid off after receiving 3 Russell Group offers from Durham, Manchester and Southampton – but eventually picking UEA, where I fell in love with the course and the acres of land!

I’m a 3rd year medical student at Oxford with experience in tutoring and mentoring students in A level sciences as well as different aspects of the medicine application process. Applying for medicine may seem overwhelming with the many hurdles that have to be jumped and the various skills that need to be honed in order to stand out from the rest of the cohort. As someone who has been through the same journey and found it challenging, I want to offer support and guidance to other aspirants who are keen and passionate to study medicine and feel discouraged by the difficulty of the various aspects of the application.
