Hello ! I am a multinational (Spanish and British) second year architecture student, currently at Cambridge University, who comes equipped with a highly interdisciplinary background and passion for learning new skills. My interests within architecture are currently enormously varied because the subject itself is so vast! , but primarily lie in museum design and curation, sustainability and bamboo construction, and theoretical discourse on phenomenology and space.

Having been panel interviewed and successful for a number of committee roles and achievements at different scales (Head Girl, university applications… as well as current internship interviews) I am well versed in interview technique and experience. I am able to provide general Oxbridge interview/ mock interviews for humanities subjects as there is a substantial overlap with what I study in my course (particularly geography, history, HSPS, archeology). I specialise in architecture, and have made multiple professional portfolios (and continuously make one every term for my degree), with an eye for detail, and so as well as mock interviews and general advice, I will happily advise in this key area.

I did five A levels, six AS levels, so have been through pretty much most academic scenarios and can provide tips for efficient revision, and efficient time management, in the similar way that worked for me.

My highly interdisciplinary architecture degree also means I am trained in professional presentation skills (persuasive presenting of work at least four times every week to a crowd), graphic skills in rendering, photography and videography, and confidence in all Adobe software. Analytical, academic essays are also a substantial part of the course and I further hone my writing skills writing university articles for the Cambridge Language Collective, Climate Journals and producing graphics for an Arts Magazine.

Hi! My name is Joseph and I am going into my third year studying biological Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge. I will specialise in Pathology, but have taken physiology, neurobiology and chemistry at degree level too. I understand how exhausting the Oxbridge application process can be, and how challenging it is to balance this with preparation for exams too. I want to assure you that your success is my priority and I am happy to help in any way that I can. I hope that I can help you be excited about applying to University too – researching universities and writing applications feels daunting but as someone who is having a great time at university currently, I know that the end result is worth it. I do a lot of theatre at university which requires a lot of time management skills to balance alongside a demanding degree, but I do this because I understand the importance of finding joy outside of academic work. In my lessons I will help you succeed but I will encourage this in a healthy and productive way.

I’m Simran and I’m a first year medical student at the University of Liverpool. I achieved 3/4 medical school offers at Bart’s, Liverpool and Leicester. I have access to Medic Minds UCAT bank and will be using this in lessons. I hope to help others find the confidence in themselves going forward and support them in achieving their respective goals. No goal is too ambitious! I hope to support you in pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone and adopting a growth mindset. I have a degree in BSc Chemistry and MSc Chemistry. During my Masters, I did research by developing drugs to treat cancer by developing novel drugs that have a maleimides functional group to target proteins that cause cancer. My research was ground-breaking and is currently being published in Journals.

Hi, I’m Kai! I was born in sunny Singapore, where I completed high school and two years of mandatory military service before studying at the University of New South Wales as a medical student.

In my early schooling years, I was never deemed as ‘naturally gifted’ in academics. Despite my shortcomings, I overcame many struggles and hurdles to get to where I am today. My wish as a tutor is to be able to impart my gained experience and knowledge to students whose position I was once in.

For my national service, I was attached to an endurance-class warship and served as a fast craft specialist in the Singapore Navy. There, I further learnt the importance of being disciplined and hardworking in the pursuit of excellence. At the same time, I understand that a keen interest in the given subject is just as important.
