Hi there, my name is RaeLynn and I’m a 2nd year medical student at Monash University. I scored 3060 in my UCAT and 178 in my ISAT, and i know firsthand how intense and stressful the prep for med school can feel – especially trying to obtain a high score while balancing school, friends and life!! I have been through it all and developed tried and tested strategies to help you tackle each section with confidence.
As a tutor, I believe that UCAT and ISAT prep does not have to be stressful at all and can be fun! I will focus on tailoring our sessions to your study needs and strengths. Whether its mastering how to answer each section and question type, or learning exam techniques to stay cool under pressure, I will guide you with patience and proven techniques.

Additionally, I’m an experienced medical interview tutor who has received offers from Monash, UNSW, Adelaide, and UWA. With a strong understanding of what each university looks for, I provide targeted strategies, mock interview practice, and personalised feedback to help students perform with confidence. I offer insider tips, high-quality resources, and proven techniques to help you structure answers, think critically, and showcase your best self—while keeping sessions engaging and enjoyable. Whether you’re aiming for MMI or panel formats, I’ll help you stand out and succeed. Let’s make your med interview prep not just effective, but something you actually look forward to!

Outside of medicine and studying, I enjoy sports, pilates and movies! As an international student, I can also guide those who plan on studying abroad and share my experiences moving to another country.

I’m a passionate tutor with experience in a wide range of subjects. I am outgoing and enjoy helping students develop confidence and clarity in their learning.

I tailor my lessons to each student’s level, pace, and goals, making sure they not only understand the material but also enjoy the process. Whether you’re preparing for exams, building foundational skills, or simply want to improve, I’m here to support and guide you. Rather than simply providing answers, I guide students to discover them through carefully chosen examples, thought experiments, and counterexamples. I pay close attention to each student’s strengths and areas for improvement, adapting my approach accordingly—whether that means breaking down complex arguments into manageable parts or pushing advanced students to explore beyond the syllabus. I also stress the importance of revision, feedback, and intellectual humility. Mistakes are treated as learning opportunities, and I aim to foster confidence through mastery rather than shortcuts. Ultimately, my goal is to cultivate both independent thinking and disciplined analysis, so that students leave not just knowing more, but reasoning better.

Feel free to reach out—I look forward to learning together!

I love working with children and to see them learn. It fills me with joy and I love to meet new families. I blhave the patience for working with both younger and older students, and love working with people from different walks of life.
I am compassionate as I understand that not every family dynamic is the same and some students may face more difficulties. The big picture matters as all adults have a part to play in the social, mental and emotional development of each child.
Getting to know my students’ liked and dislikes is as important as their educational needs is important.
It’s necessary tk build rapport, garner trust and to enforce respect from them to me, and me to them. I encourage healthy boundaries so that the tutor-student relationship can thrive.
I am keen on discipline, if necessary, with the help of parents, but I am a massive fan of reward – both verbal, written and through prizes – and find it greatly encouraging for my students.
Lessons must be engaging, fun and worthwhile for all involved.
And clear communication is key and can be worked on.

I believe my experiences have provided me with vital life experience that is necessary to be a successful and creative teacher. In my previous position I have taught online and face to face. In my opinion online learning can be very affective as well as face to face learning. In addition, while teaching online I was able to learn various strategies to support children learning and plan according to each learner. As a teacher I believe it is important to know various strategies to support my learners need which will have a positive effect on their learning. For example, in my class I had a child who was not confident with his speech. Within my lesson I introduced pictures to support the child and it helped the child with his speech as well as he engaged in the learning and could visually see his learning.
