About Me
I am an experienced Teacher and SENDCO plus a Counselling undergraduate.
I have a wealth of experience in a range of settings including Alternative Provisions and Pupil Referral Units.
I am trauma informed and Speech and Language trained with an interest in Neurodiversity which is not exclusive to ADHD, ASD and Cognition and Learning. I use a range of techniques and resources to support both the visual and working memory and plan a highly personalised experience for learners.
I have a broad background from both Primary and High School students aswell as having worked at an international level at a Thai international school.
I believe that every learner should be aspirational and that when lessons offer a high chance of success paired with high interest; outcomes can be wonderful.
I believe that I am passionate, nurturing and knowledgeable and this in turn allows learners to feel supported on their learning journey with me.
My teaching style
Multi sensory, high interest, innovative, creative and informative. I like to work with the pupil and support them in understanding their learning style. I support neurodivergent learners in understanding executive functioning skills so that they understand how their neurodiversity can work in their favour.
