Hi I am Aanchal! I am a new resident doctor. I love teaching and tutoring and helping others gain knowledge for many reasons, most importantly the rewards of my students passing is like no other. I have tutored before and have been successful at it and as a tutor I am very flexible and friendly and am able to meet your needs to avoid disappointment. I am quite proffessional and will always communicate in the best way to avoid confusions about timings of lessons, content of lessons etc. I was born raised in England but am interested in health in other countries as well. I have quite a bit of experience in the medical field and would love to share this knowledge as everyone should benefit. Hello there!

My name is Abbey, I’m a 3rd Year Vet Med student in the Graduate Entry programme at the University of Edinburgh. Before this degree, I completed my BSc in Veterinary Biosciences and an MRes of Parasite Control at Aberystwyth University.

Outside the classroom, I am very active, acting as captain of the vet school’s badminton team that competes monthly in the local league with weekly training. I also am one of the student ambassadors at vet school, so am very familiar with the runnings of the school.

I have been involved in several extracurricular activities since secondary school, ranging from Model United Nations, organising blood drives, to being the managing editor of the school newspaper just to name a few! This carried into my university years in my first degree, restarting the Animal & Veterinary Society and holding roles such as President, Vice-President and Secretary, and being a part of a 10-year consecutive winning dance team as well.

As a second-year medical student at the University of Leicester, I’ve successfully navigated the challenging journey of academic examinations and medical school applications. Having recently experienced the pressures of GCSEs, A-levels, UCAT, and the rigorous medical school application process, I understand firsthand the daunting nature of these crucial academic milestones.
My academic achievements include 4 Grade 9s and 6 Grade 8s at GCSE, A*AA at A-level, and an A* in EPQ. I also scored in the top decile for UCAT with a Band 1 in SJT. This strong academic background, coupled with over a year of tutoring experience in a range of subjects, positions me well to guide students through their own academic journeys.
As your tutor, I’ll provide personalised teaching tailored to your unique learning style. We’ll focus on extensive exam practice as well as going over content and I will share effective techniques to help you achieve high grades. My approach emphasises regular, committed sessions designed to fit around both our schedules, ensuring you reach your maximum potential and desired results.
