Product Design Tutors : 1-1 Product Design Lessons

Hi everyone!
My name is Aadam and I am an Engineering student at Trinity College, Cambridge.

I have had experience guiding students in their Cambridge Engineering (and STEM) applications in everything from personal statements to interviews. I have particular experience in tutoring the entrance exams/interviews for which I have already prepared many resources.

Having gone through the experience myself, I understand the concerns you will have and stresses that you will be under so rest assured I will be there to answer any questions that you might have and make the process as smooth and as comfortable as possible.

I am also fluent in French and German so I can tutor you in these languages as well as in English if you prefer.

I have also had a lot of experience tutoring online via Zoom (nearly 5 years now) in many subjects at GCSE (and A-Level) so I am completely familiar with the process and I know to harness the many benefits of online tutoring and how to completely avoid its inevitable drawbacks.

I am a dedicated and motivated architecture undergraduate at the University of Cambridge, driven by a passion for sustainable design and equipped with a solid foundation in both the creative and technical aspects of the field. My academic journey has honed my ability to blend innovative concepts with practical solutions, aiming to create structures that are both aesthetically pleasing and environmentally responsible.

Beyond the lecture theatre, I have gained valuable hands-on experience through community projects and internships at architecture firms across Europe. These opportunities have allowed me to develop a diverse skill set, including model making, conducting site visits, and engaging in preliminary design work. My involvement in these projects has also deepened my understanding of real-world challenges and the importance of community-oriented design.

Through my work, I have cultivated a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, always striving to push the boundaries of traditional architecture. I am eager to continue expanding my knowledge and contributing to projects that prioritize sustainability and innovation, making a positive impact on the built environment.

After spending my own education in a grammar school setting and achieving highly on my own GCSEs I moved first to college, and then university to study a degree in special effects. Whilst undertaking my university degree I realised my main passions were education and being able to make a difference to students who may need some support or a friendly face. I then retrained as a design technology teacher as I believe these practical life and creative skills are highly important whilst also allowing us to use and strengthen our maths and science skills
