My name is Aadam and I am an Engineering student at Trinity College, Cambridge.

I have had experience guiding students in their Cambridge Engineering (and STEM) applications in everything from personal statements to interviews. I have particular experience in tutoring the entrance exams/interviews for which I have already prepared many resources.

Having gone through the experience myself, I understand the concerns you will have and stresses that you will be under so rest assured I will be there to answer any questions that you might have and make the process as smooth and as comfortable as possible.

I’m a product design tutor with a background in industrial design and a genuine interest in helping students become more confident, creative, and independent in their work. I studied Product Design at Nottingham Trent University, where I developed skills across research, sketching, CAD, model making, rendering, presentation, and design communication. I also completed a 12-month internship at PriestmanGoode, an international design consultancy, which gave me valuable experience of how design is used in a professional setting.

I support GCSE, A-level and undergraduate students with Product Design, helping them understand both the creative and technical sides of the subject. I know that design projects can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when students are trying to balance coursework, deadlines, practical work, written analysis, and exam preparation. My aim is to make the process feel clearer and more manageable.

I can help with idea generation, design research, sketching, CAD, development work, modelling, presentation layout, annotation, evaluation, and portfolio-style coursework. I enjoy helping students take an initial idea and develop it into something more considered, realistic, and well communicated.

Above all, I want students to feel more confident in their own design decisions. Product Design is not just about making things look good; it is about understanding people, solving problems, testing ideas, and explaining your thinking clearly. I aim to give students practical guidance, constructive feedback, and a supportive space to improve their work.

I am an Architecture BA (Hons) graduate from the University of Cambridge with a strong academic background in STEM subjects and over five years of experience as a tutor. I have consistently enjoyed supporting students in building both subject confidence and independent problem-solving skills.

Alongside my studies, I have worked extensively as a private tutor and admissions instructor, supporting students across Maths, Physics and general academic skills. I have particular experience working with students preparing for Oxbridge, including personal statement feedback, interview preparation and guidance on structuring applications. I find this work especially rewarding as it allows me to help students translate their potential into tangible outcomes.
