Hi all, I am Shiva, a GPHC qualified pharmacist for 8 years, specialising in paediatrics, clinical trials, surgery and general medicine. Qualified from UCL in 2014, I specialised as a hospital pharmacist and worked in London hospitals, including Barts Health NHS Trust, Kings College Hospital, Great Ormond St and Whittington Hospital.
During COVID, I transitioned from pharmacy into the pharmaceutical industry and now work as a medical advisor within medical affairs.
My passion is teaching. I have been a tutor for over 4 years and helped many students develop their clinical skills, calculation skills and provided preparation for the pharmacy exam.
I also help professionals that are looking to move into the pharmaceutical industry or have recently joined the pharmaceutical industry and are about to sit their ABPI exam.
I also help students with interview preparation to help them secure the job they want including:
-Interviews for hospital pharmacy
-Interview for pharmaceutical industry
My aim is simple- help students pass exams and secure the jobs they want and deserve!
Hello, I’m Astrid – a mature medical student, software engineer, and pharmacist.
Before starting my career in software development, I studied pharmacy and worked in both hospital pharmacy and pharmaceutical research. During my time in research, I developed a strong interest in computing, taught myself to code (starting with Python and JavaScript), and transitioned into a full-time software engineering role a year later.
Over the years, I’ve worked across finance, education, and healthcare technology. While I enjoyed the challenges of software engineering, I realised how much I missed working directly in healthcare and decided to pursue a long-standing dream: studying medicine. Since September 2023, I’ve been a full-time graduate-entry medical student at the University of St Andrews.
I’m committed to lifelong learning and love teaching. I regularly support fellow medical students by explaining complex topics, creating interactive quizzes, presentations, and clinical case studies. Previously, I’ve led hands-on workshops using Raspberry Pis to teach coding to beginners (see my website: https://aronja.github.io) and have presented at national and international conferences, including this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?si=Zv_VRtZR3TodfAzd&v=hQkBrkMIhhc&feature=youtu.be
I’ve also mentored aspiring developers through organisations like Codebar and Code Your Future, offering support in Python, Java, and JavaScript.
I’d love the opportunity to help others unlock their potential by tutoring in a wide range of subjects, including:
Sciences & Healthcare: Interview Prep, and Entrance Exams, Chemistry, Medicine, Clinical Skills and Pharmacology
Languages: Native German
Technology: Programming in Python, Java, JavaScript, and Shell Scripting
I hold an Upper Second Class Honours in my Master’s degree in Pharmacy and have been working in various pharmacy settings since the age of 19. Over the years, I have gained valuable experience across both NHS and private healthcare sectors, including placements and roles in general practice, hospital pharmacy, and community settings. This diverse exposure has enabled me to develop a broad, flexible, and adaptable skill set, while significantly strengthening my clinical knowledge. Working in multidisciplinary teams and caring for patients from a range of backgrounds has also enhanced my communication, leadership, and decision-making skills. These experiences have given me the confidence and competence to thrive in complex clinical environments and deliver safe, high-quality pharmaceutical care.

I am a current final year medical student at the University of Cambridge who has previous experience teaching in schools and online tutoring. Between 2016-2019, I obtained a first class degree in Biological and Medicinal Chemistry from the University of York. After completing this, I worked in a school teaching A level Chemistry and Biology.
Over the past few 3-4 years, I have gained experience teaching the following subjects:
Medical Admissions
Undergraduate Chemistry
A level Chemistry
A level Biology
My main area of expertise is undergraduate/A-level chemistry and medical admissions (personal statement, entrance exams and interview preparation)
I achieved 4/4 offers for Medicine (University of Cambridge, University of Birmingham, University of Warwick and University of Aston) and I was in the top 10% average for UCAT
I am a third year medical student at Keele. I have been tutoring since my first year so i am up to date with the interview styles and formats. Interviews significantly changed post-COVID so its beneficial having someone who did their interview in the new format. As a graduate student I have gained a lot of experience in healthcare and can help you understand the system such as the communication skills expected and desired by medical schools. I focus on having an efficient and high yield system to save you time and give you the best standing chance. Also as I was recently interviewed by multiple medical schools, so I understand how each one differs in style and can give you guidance on this. However the first couple of lessons you will have with me will give you the basics to answering any question thrown at you, by any university!
I am a 4th Year Pharmacy student at the University of Brighton in which I am the first cohort that they are including the Independent Prescribing Course! I have loved my Pharmacy journey so far as alongside University I also work weekends at Boots. I know Pharmacy is not an easy course having done resits prior to progress into the next year but, with time I managed to figure out what was best for me in terms of performing well in examinations, coursework and OSCEs. I would love to help any Pharmacy students or anyone who is interested in the Pharmacy profession as I achieved ABB in my A-Levels (Psychology: A, Biology: B Chemistry: B) and have some experience in interviews as I originally applied for Medicine (received interviews for Nottingham, Lancaster and Dundee) but, made the change to Pharmacy because I wanted to be closer to home!

Hi, my name is safaa and I am a 3rd year medical student who attends Keele University. I love medicine and would love to help those who want to get into it as much as I can. I am a kind and friendly individual and would like to think I am approachable. I love to give to potential medical students so they have the best outcomes in the future. I have a friendly approach to my teaching so students to feel at ease and get the best out of the session but at the same time, I try to give honest feedback so that they can improve from what they have done and can learn from it. As a student, I feel like I know how other students would like to learn. As a medical student that went through the process of this before, I know it can feel quite daunting and hard so now that I have got where I am I would love to help students achieve their dreams.

Hello!
My name is Aziza and I am a current 2nd year medic at Bart’s and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry.
I have had a lot of experience with tutoring – with being a subject ambassador at my secondary school, and tutoring friends and family at a variety of ages and skill set . From doing this, I have realised that different students have different ways of learning, therefore, adapting teaching style from student-to-student is crucial in making sure the student is content with the sessions.
I believe that practise questions are crucial in helping students understand the content, so will always end my sessions with questions- however, I am very lenient in allowing the student to lead the session to encourage them to ask questions and allow them to gain the full experience out of our sessions!
I have a real passion for helping students with their application process. I empathise with aspiring medical/dental students, as I was once in the same position. I realise that it is a daunting experience, so as well as being a tutor, I will be a form of support through this time.
I was the first in my family to go to university, therefore, I empathise with those who are in similar positions.
Applying to university can be very difficult, as there is a lot to tackle. However, I aim to help students academically, mentally and personally through this time!
