My name is Kathryn and I am originally from Toronto, Canada. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences at Queen’s University in Canada and went on to complete my Master’s in Biomedical and Molecular Sciences also at Queen’s. My Master’s focused on cardiovascular research, which is a field that I will continue to pursue as an academic doctor as part of the Cambridge Academic Foundation Programme. Apart from medicine, I really enjoy the outdoors, cycling, and traveling. I also love trying new foods! As someone who didn’t have these supports growing up, I really want to give back and help other students navigate their way through medicine. Following the completion of this degree I was accepted into the graduate entry medicine programme at The University of Oxford where I am currently studying. I offer tutoring in A-Level Chemistry and Biology, as well as guidance for medical school personal statements, and preparation for the UCAT and MCAT admissions tests.
In the 2024 UCAT sitting, I achieved a score within the top 2% of all test-takers. Additionally, I have professional experience writing UCAT practice questions for multiple educational organisations, further refining my insight into the skills and strategies required for success.
